"When entering the room. There was a very bad odor which may be the carpet. It gave old persons home smell. I had to spray the room with my personal spray to gain a good smell. I recommend the hotel to request the carpets to be shampoo. Other than that, the hotel was clean and staff was nice. It was just the smell in the room. I will be a returning costumer over all :-)"

"During our 3 night stay our room was not cleaned or towels changed. At least fresh, dry towels could have been brought each day, even if the bed or room wasn’t tended to. We felt bad for the one lone wait staff member in the restaurant when we dined for breakfast. She was so very pleasant though even though she had to be overwhelmed. We felt for the cost of our rooms (2), that more should have been done to make us feel more comfortable."

"This is a less than average hotel. The pictures of the room are totally misleading. The room look very old. The mattress was so bad you feel you are sleeping on springs. The shower head was very bad, it was a struggle to get water in the shower. The toilet has several permanent stains. The pool is outside and closes at 8:00 pm. The breakfast room is so tiny that people couldn’t walk properly without touching each other. The food is less than average. No eggs or sausage. We had terrible biscuit ( undercooked) and gravy during our stay along with continental items. Only good thing was the coffee. The cost per night does not justify the quality or amenities at this hotel."

"When we called for reservations asking if they could match hotel.com price ,they said no,use hotel .com. But when we got there the desk person quoted us a much better price. But since we had already made a reservation on hotel.com we had to pay a higher price for the room. The stay otherwise was good. Breakfast was nice,"

"Stopped here for the night just passing through. Nice enough, but everything felt like a store going out of business. In fact, they were closing their TGI Friday's on May 31, despite doing good business. The restaurant was a selling point because I could get some late apps for dinner. Downside, the room smelled like wet dog. Didnt love it."

"I was very impressed with the physical property and the staff. The back terrace is wonderful. Only small issues. For those of us who are older a magnifying mirror or a light over the hall mirror would be helpful for makeup. Also, the breakfast choices could be updated a little. Perhaps croissants and fresh fruit?"
