Cozy Vacation Apartment “Opitz” close to Lake Constance with Wi-Fi, Garden & Pool

The vacation apartment “Opitz” in the attic of the house is situated in a quiet residential area of Allensbach, a lakeside town between Radolfzell and Konstanz, and is only a short walk from the woods and a beach. The room consists of a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen and has a bathroom. It can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a baby cot and satellite television. The shared outdoor area on the ground floor boasts a spacious garden with an above ground pool and a covered terrace, where you can start the day with breakfast or spend the evenings with tasty dinners from the barbecue. You will find a pharmacy after 600 m or a 7-minute walk, a supermarket and a restaurant serving local dishes after a 10-minute walk (850 m), and you will get to the nearest beach, Strandbad Allensbach after 2.4 km. You can get there on foot in 30 minutes, by bike in 10 minutes or take the bus only a 3-minute walk from the house (270 m) and arrive at the beach after 7 minutes. There you can relax in the sun, swim in the clear blue water of Lake Constance and enjoy the wonderful lake and mountain panorama. After a 12-minute walk (1 km) from the apartment, you will arrive at the ferry terminal, from which you can cross the lake to the beautiful Reichenau Island, a UNESCO World Heritage and popular destination for day trips. The train station is 1.2 km or a 14-minute walk from the apartment, and trains take 8 minutes to Radolfzell and 10 minutes to the picturesque old town centre of Konstanz. The area around Allensbach is also ideal for hiking and cycling, due to its many idyllic forests and the natural reserve.

Eine kleine, schnuckelige Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht

Pros: Klimaanlage und Mückenschutzgitter, Ausstattung: es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Eine sehr freundliche Familie, eine super saubere, sehr modern eingerichtete Wohnung, die größer ist, als die Fotos vermuten lassen. Genug Stauraum für alles. Unsere Räder waren sicher untergebracht und wir hatten eine super Ausgangslage für unsere Touren. Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen. Cons: Nichts!

Die Wohnung unter dem Dach war für mich als 1,95 m-Mann etwas beengt.

Pros: Sehr nette familiäre Atmosphäre, jederzeit hilfsbereit. Viele Tiere - Kaninchen Papagei etc. - das ist sicher etwas für Kinder, aber uns hat's auch gefallen. Die Lage ist ideal, kurze Wege zum Bahnhof und zu Märkten. Oberhalb der Wohnung gibt's Wanderwege, Natur pur. Der Gemüse-Kräutergarten war natürlich etwas für mich, da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Cons: Leider spielte die Klimaanlage nicht mit, da war's schon manchmal heftig heiß unter dem Dach. Aber die wird kurzfristig repariert. Die Treppe zur Wohnung ist recht steil, wir haben uns aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Wofür niemand etwas kann - das sind die Stechmücken. Die sind eine echte Plage, aber die gibt's dort allenthalben. Mückenschutz vor den Dachfenstern wäre eine gute Sache.

Frau Opitz war wirklich sehr nett. Die Gästekarte bekamen wir nach Ankunft innerhalb von 5 Minuten.

Rückblick

Das Wetter war schlecht, aber für unsere Pläne okay. Klasse, dass wir kostenlos mit Bezahlung der Kurtaxe den ÖPNV nutzen konnten. Bei Bookiply war noch die alte Vermieter-Telefonnummer hinterlegt, eine Festnetznummer, von der wir keinen Rückruf (Anruf auf AB) erhalten haben wegen der Schlüsselübergabe. Die Wohnung ist eng/ schräg, aber dafür relativ günstig. Ausstattung war für unsere Bedürfnisse okay. Sehr nette Vermieterin.

Pros: Das Haus hat einen schönen Pool und die Inhaber waren alle nett und freundlich wir haben uns Wohl gefühlt es war sehr super, Cons: Ein was uns nicht gut war unterm Dach es war sehr warm aber die Probleme haben wir schon darüber gesprochen da wir schon was gehört haben das die Familie kleine Ferienwohnung umbauen wollen, und wir hoffen beim nächsten Besuch wieder zusehen, danke wünschen wir für die Familien Opitz viel Glück
