Allegheny River Tours and Activities

I vowed not to return to this property since I stayed there over 10 years ago. I left a necklace and wanted to return and get it, they didn’t want to help me find it. Plus the rooms smelled of smoke. So this time the room wasn’t as great ether, I was happy we had a fridge. The beds were uncomfortable and I had brought a small air purifier to combat any smells. The shower would not drain and black stuff was backing up. They did fix it but they never cleaned the tub after fixed. I was so tired of asking for things I let it slide. One day we asked to clean the room multiple times. We were eating in the room and I wanted the trash out and more towels. We were ended up taking the trash out ourselves. They did give us a bag of towels but didn’t bother to pick up the dirty ones. There was no 24 hour restaurant there, it was fine because we brought our meal prep food and ate rather healthy. It was inconvenient ordering food from their cafe I had to go to the restaurant and scan the QR code. That should be located in every room as well as a way to order room service. I most likely won’t be staying there again. Maybe an upgraded room would have been nicer. One of the house keepers was very helpful, most hotels accommodate things you forget. This one did not and wanted you to purchase from their market. If you do sports betting it’s a great place to stay. I was also upset about the parking charges even as a guest we had to pay and I was double charged.

The bed was comfortable, room was quiet and clean. Disliked having mini snack bar in room,Food options are all overpriced, convince store has no prices on items! Disliked no refrigerator or microwave, had to rely on a cooler, Using the ice machine on floor 20 a baby roach ran across the ice dispenser nozzle. Parking is not free had issues trying to leave parking garage during stay, gate would not recognize room key, thankfully we were able to back out and try another, the garage is not staffed so if you get trapped It may take some time to resolve. Great location, Unfortunately the sidewalk directly in front of hotel had at least dozen homeless people camped out and some completely passed out or possibly dead laying across the sidewalk, no one seemed bothered by it. Walking onto the strip this situation is unavoidable.

We stayed in one of the cottages and it was just perfect. The fully equipped kitchen downstairs with a master suite was perfect for my parents. I appreciated having the laundry upstairs with the other bedrooms. The staff at the main building were so helpful with our packages and printing documents for us. Unfortunately we had a very busy week and could not enjoy the wonderful amenities of the resort. Overall, a great selection and would start again!
