Podere Cala Viola is the ideal destination for those seeking a holiday centred on nature and relaxation, without sacrificing the convenience of being just a few minutes away from the many wonders Alghero has to offer. Located near Porto Conte in Sardinia, just 2 km from the beautiful Baia di Conte beach, Podere Cala Viola offers 7 cosy, independent cottages created through the renovation of an old farmhouse built in the 1940s.

The Cala Acqua House is ideal for a stay for two or three adults or for a family holiday.

It is located on the ground floor and features a beautiful veranda with a comfortable bamboo sofa and a colourful coffee table. The veranda allows you to enjoy moments of relaxation and outdoor meals in total privacy and seclusion.

The entrance to the house is the original one, preserving the charm of the historic farmhouse. The interiors, however, have been recently renovated. The fully equipped kitchen features all the amenities. It is furnished in a Mediterranean style, with colourful details such as tiles hand-painted by master artisans from Vietri. The sofa bed can comfortably sleep one adult.

In the double bedroom, which features hardwood floors, nightstands, and a closet, a third bed can be added. The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a shower and toilet.

The house offers free Wi-Fi.

Upon your arrival, you’ll find bed linens, towels, and kitchen linens already thoughtfully laid out for you.


The house is nestled in a beautiful garden filled with olive and fruit trees. In the large garden, you can enjoy the pool or relax in the hot tub. There is also a barbecue area for guests’ exclusive use, equipped with a pizza oven. For the little ones, the Lisci family has created a lovely outdoor play area where fun is guaranteed. The residence also features a laundry area with state-of-the-art, eco-friendly washing machines. A short distance from the farm, you’ll find a supermarket, a diving centre, a pharmacy, and numerous agritourism properties and restaurants. For those looking for local products, many farmers in the area sell their fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic options. You can also sample the excellent wines from the famous Santa Maria la Palma winery (5 km). The residence is very close to the area’s most beautiful beaches (Cala Viola and Cala Porticciolo are a 1-minute drive away, Mugoni Beach is 2 minutes away, and Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto, and Porto Ferro are 5 minutes away). Other points of interest are also very close by, such as Capo Caccia, the Grotte di Nettuno, and numerous archaeological sites (a 5-minute drive). Alghero’s historic centre is easily accessible in 15 minutes by car or bus. North of Alghero, Stintino—home to the famous “La Pelosa” beach—is about a 40-minute drive away. Alghero/Fertilia Airport is 7 km away, while the seaport of Porto Torres is about a 30-minute drive away.
