"Well located guesthouse close to many of the sights of central Reykjavik. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Communication ahead of our stay was good but we did not see any staff on sight. Two items to be mindful of. There is no lift and the staircase is steep so be mindful of this as you need to be able to carry your luggage up the stairs. "The location is good, but the listing did not clearly mention that this unit is a room in the basement with a shared common area and shared bathroom (there seem to be other options in the guesthouse that are not in the basement). The bathroom door also made a loud squeaky noise, which was not ideal for a shared unit, and the bedsheets seemed a bit worn or not fully clean. That said, the staff communication was friendly, and we appreciate them hosting us."
