  • The accommodation offers a spacious lounge and dining area with original stone walls, leather suite and large conservatory, hallway with toilet/shower room and fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. A mezzanine bedroom with king-size bed which is reached by a traditional hardwood staircase. Private patio area. Full central heating, sky TV in all rooms.
    Centrally located on the west coast of Loch Lomond, a great base for exploring.

Comfortable and snug

Comfortable accommodation that is well located for access to Loch Lomond, the Arrochar Alps and the Trossachs. Locally there are paths and quiet roads that stretch from Balloch to Luss and also to the hills on the other side of the busy A82.

THE SMIDDY

Excellent property in great little estate. Always comes very clean and tidy with all you will need and a great welcome pack. Staff never too busy to help if needed. Great place and will definitely go back again as have been going for around 10 years.

Nice but could be better

Overall house was nice. Conservatory was a bit of a waste of space as gets way too hot during the day even with windows open. Suggest putting a solid roof on it to make it more useable. Under the bed was thick with dust, clearly not been cleaned for a long time. Kitchen could be better stocked. We had friends visit for the day from Glasgow and not enough glasses for lunch. Should be at least four of each and preferably six. Pillows very uncomfortable. Lack of clothes storage in bedroom and a light in cupboard under stairs would have helped as had to use it as wardrobe. Location was handy but no views. Maybe also provide some picnic chairs and a picnic table so people can go sit beside loch and enjoy the stunning scenery. A sunshade or umbrella for outside table would also be handy.
