The staff were super friendly and down-to-earth. The area suffered a power outage the night we stayed, and the staff took extra care to make sure we understood what was happening and could find our way around. The room was basic but very clean & comfortable. The window coverings did not adequately keep out exterior light (no problem if you have an eye-shade). Midweek breakfast includes waffles made-to-order (no meat items). The staff added eggs and potatoes as a special "thank-you" for our patience during the town power outage - much appreciated! We had read about the hotel cats in other reviews. The cats have their own room overnight, and are outdoors during breakfast. The only time they are around is during the day, after most guests have left. They are very sweet - and we enjoyed hearing their stories from the employees! Would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, quiet surroundings, and personality.

The only place I’ll stay in Alamosa
I always like staying there. Great price no frills just a safe, comfortable clean room. It’s not fancy but has everything you need for a comfortable stay whether it’s one night or multiple. I’ve stayed there a few times and will always stay there when I’m in Alamosa.
