"The hotel has a great view and its garden is connected to the beach. Friendly owner offered nice breakfast everyday. The owner’s friend comes to offer yoga, massage and diving. problem is the narrow and busy street next to it, making the place too noisy to have a relaxing sleep. "

"My wife & i stayed at Tara Gardens for 16 nights. The villa was so peaceful & tranquill. The grounds were a joy to walk around, we would listen to birdsong in the morning & watch families of monkeys passing through in the afternoon. The pool was a great size & cleaned every morning. The staff were amazing, seeing to our every need. Chami would take us out any time of day in the tuk tuk & Pradeep would see to our evening meals on our return. Top Akurala Hotel Reviews

Riff Hikkaduwa

Riff Hikkaduwa

10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I stayed at Riff Hikkaduwa for 3 nights. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from Hikkaduwa town but is easily accessible. The hotel is clean and staff are very nice. The room we stayed in was spacious and well equipped overlooking the beach, which was stunning. The food is tasty with multiple options available for breakfast and dinner. The pool has a lovely view out towards the beach. My wife also enjoyed a back massage at the spa. We would definitely recommend this hotel."
