"Great place for a family of four with young kids. The river and mountains were just outside our door. Very spacious and comfortable room. The staff was incredibly accommodating, too. We flew into Reykjavik late afternoon and drove up that evening. We got there just as their restaurant was closing, and they stayed open late for us. "

"What’s not to like about all things Viking! The restaurant is top notch! You may even be serenaded!
Our friend said it was kitschy but we respectfully disagree. Profound respect for Viking history and lore, we loved it! When I say “we” my wife and I!
Great accommodations especially “the rooms of the gods”. Loved it all!"

"This was the tiniest room but with the most amazing view of Hallgrimskirja. The breakfast was good. The front desk attendant was extremely nice and he offered to help us tote our luggage up to the fourth floor. He also answered all our questions about the area."
