Un séjour inoubliable un accueil chaleureux une vue extraordinaire piscine et spa pour se détendre au top. Un grand merci à Vincent pour son apéro dinatoire qui a mon goût je pense plutôt à un repas dinatoire qui fut a la hauteur et alors un petit dejeuner exceptionnel, le tout avec des produits locaux. Je le conseille vivement aux personnes qui aiment la nature et qui veulent se ressourcer.

Excellent sejour dans la chambre d'hôtes Lucy, qui est spacieuse, salle d'eau et wc séparés, un espace frigo / evier / bouilloire / grille-pain / micro-ondes très pratique et une superbe terrasse privative en hauteur par laquelle on accéde à la chambre, escalier entouré de roses. Le domaine est très calme, avec piscine et spa, dans un cadre verdoyant. Accueil au top, petit-déjeuner Excellent avec des fruits frais du jardin. Excellents conseils pour les visites.

Heaven on earth - a soulful B&B for country lovers

I chose this B&B due to its Dordogne location, and the country life depicted by the photos. Our experience was even better than expected! The sheer size and rich history of >400 years of the farm, and liveliness coupled with tranquility are difficult to reflect in photos. Our most hospitable and thoughtful hosts, Vincent and Xavier, both are fluent in English and well traveled, made us feel like visiting friends rather than hotel guests. A few hours after we settled in at our room, which was spacious and well appointed with quality materials, and anything you might need on a trip, Vincent cooked us a country dinner: homemade apéritif to go with homemade pate foie gras, foie gras entree with freshly picked vegetables from their garden, local cheese and wine, followed by red berries from their strawberry farm. It's delicious! We talked hours over the meal. A few hours ago we didn't even know each other's existence! Vincent provided excellent local tour information and suggestions, which we took and had great time. Mingling with the hosts and their fellow villagers at a local bar watching World Cup soccer game between France and Belgium was a unforgettable event. Strolling with Xavier in the farm, relaxing in the gorgeous swimming pool, and talking with our hosts ended up taking away some touring time, but we wished to just spend more time in the farm! It's great place to enjoy nature, country life, relaxing and renew, be it by yourself, or with your spouse, or entire family!

One of the nicest places we have stayed in

Vincent, the owner, was exceptionally kind to us before we even arrived (by phone) and the rooms were lovely with every possible amenity. He said the property has been in his his family for over 300 years and their deep love of the place is everywhere to be seen. I did not realize how beautiful and historically interesting the Perigord region is even though I lived in France for 10 years (30 years ago). We will definitely return...
