"This clean little apartment had everything we needed, with space to spare! We appreciated being able to wash our clothes and have a breakfast of groceries we bought from a supermarket less than 10 minutes’ walk away - on a Saturday evening! Parking was conveniently located from check-in, and we took advantage of it upon checkout so that we could wander around town for a few hours. Proximity to everything we wanted to see was great…just a walk away. Bonus was that we happened upon a wonderful concert very near the apartment, in front of the Santa Cruz Church. One downside of this rental is that it is near a road with an incline, and there were many loud motorcycles passing late into the night that prevented a good night’s sleep. Also, for those with mobility issues, the distance and stairs between parking and the apartment could pose a problem. Overall, this was a very nice stay."

Chambre et salle de bain petites mais propres mais nous avons noté des moisissures à la base de la vitre de la douche. Très bon buffet-déjeuner servi dès 6:30 ce qui est parfait quand on veut profiter de la journée au maximum. Bien situé on peut ranger la voiture et se déplacer à pied."

"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs. The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport in and around the city. Certainly worth staying here."

"Sofia Studios was great value considering the incredible central location it has in Coimbra. It was exceptionally clean and very easy to check in to. Staff are on hand during the day and are very helpful. Our only criticism is that he bathroom is really small with almost no counter space. As well, it's a lot of stairs to the third floor! Normally that wouldn't be a factor for us - and it was completely as advertised - but my wife sprained her knee earlier in our Portugal trip. For anybody with mobility issues, try to request the first floor (and even then there's two flights of stairs)."
