"Excellent experience at the Caloura! Rooms, lobby, staff, restaurant, bar, pool, setting…Everything was wonderful! Highly recommend! Only issue we had was no spa services. Apparently they could not fill that role on their staff for this summer. My daughter was really looking forward to a spa day and although this was listed on their website, it was not an option. An unpleasant surprise amid an otherwise spectacular experience."

"The apartment was really nice, clean, modern and spacious for 4 of us. The air con was good and kept us cool and we got great WiFi signal. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with reduced mobility, our room did not have a balcony which we definitely missed. But you can probably be specific on your booking if you want one. The pool provided beautiful views and wasn't cold. The larger pool is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and pretty bare, there are loungers but no options for shade. It looks as though some work may be due to take place around there. We did not have breakfast at the onsite restaurant, we did enjoy a lunch and an evening meal there. The food was delicious but a little pricey, so probably not ideal to eat there every day. We managed to cook two pasta meals in the apartment using the small hob. There is no oven but there was a microwave and a dishwasher which was useful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it."

"Our house was wonderful. Very clean. My son sleeps in the sleeper sofa and we slept upstairs. The kitchen is very comfortable. We bought some things at the local grocery store and used the fridge. We tried the sauna, the bithermal shower and the jaccuzi. All wonderful after a long day exploring. The staff was incredibly useful and helpful. We asked for a late check out and it was not possible. But we were offered to use the spa shower if we needed to after our soak in the thermal baths. The only less good point was the smell I. The house, especially upstairs. Maybe there is a ventilation setting we didn’t find. It smelled of damp (the house was not damp at all though). We got used to it after a minute so so. Again the staff goes above and beyond and the location is perfect."

"Beautiful views overlooking the area, and a fantastic breakfast buffet! Location was a nice for walks into town for meals, etc., and is close to Terra Nostra. Parking at the hotel was a challenge - the lot was small, but the reception deck employee helped us figure out a solution!"
