"Beautiful escape in the mountains with lovely views and warm welcome. We had a great stay here enjoyed the quiet start to our holiday. Don't use google map to get to the property. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. The property is beautiful and isolated, so you need a car to get around here. Our host was lovely and accommodating. We arrived at dark which made it harder to find the property. We would stay again but best to enjoy for at least 3 nights if we come again. Thanks for sharing your lovely space. "

"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"The villa was very comfortable in a quiet location. Easy drive from airport but far enough away to hear birdsong, not planes!Car hire from the hosts Zakros Tours was also easy. Eliza was very helpful: meeting us at the airport, guiding us to the villa, and providing lots of useful tips on places to visit. Pentamodi village is quiet and friendly - two welcoming tavernas and a shop, all within a 2 minute walk. Greatly enjoyed our stay."
