"Hotel was clean and very convenient with a metro stop out front. The cafe on the street was also very nice and we stopped there every morning. Staff at the lobby were friendly and very helpful. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the food at the restaurant. I had the ribeye one night and the filet another. But we mediocre at best. My wife did not enjoy her meals either. We also found the restaurant staff to be not nearly as friendly as the staff at the front desk. Overall a good experience though and will recommend the hotel to others."

"Great hotel close to Athens airport, perfect for an early morning or late night flight. Nice restaurant and bar within the hotel. Great food. Friendly staff. Free shuttle to airport (it was a 15 min ride to the airport early in the morning for us). Room is very spacious and equipped with everything you’d need"

"I recommend either paying more to stay on the Acropolis side of the hotel or don’t bother at all. We were on the Zues side, 6th floor and we couldn’t sleep. We stayed there 3 nights and the car/motorcycle traffic was so loud. At one point, I jerked awake believing a car was about to hit me. The breakfast and the servers up there are the highlight. The location is also good. But the hotel must invest in some sound proofing in order to provide guests a chance at rest."

"I have never paid so much for a hotel that had so little to offer. The room was absolutely lacking in color and detail; everything but the duvet was grey. But what really disturbed me was the fact that the pool was not operating. No reason was provided for this. I was really looking forward to a good swim before a 12-flight. The restaurants were nearly empty and it was easy to understand why; the prices were exorbitant. For $500 US per night, you'd think they could at least include breakfast in the fee. ILike most guests, I simply walked back to the airport and bought food there. Given that the Sofitel is the ONLY airport hotel, they are able to get away with charging so much for so little."

"Very clean and nice view of the water. The restaurant was great and the $10 breakfast buffet was wonderful. We hired a drive to take us to the temple of Poseidon an hour away as we had a day to waste before our flight. There were plenty places to eat. A nice beach with beach chairs and umbrellas and a tiki bar snack place on the beach. There’s not much to do but it was a great place to rest up after our 15 day trip around Greece. "
