"Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with the necessary equipment. The fireplace was great especially during the colder nights. My biggest issue with it was the communication leading up to the stay. I repeatedly contacted the owner to see how to get in because I hadn't received any new communication in the days leading up to it. After inquiring, I would get generic copy-pasted message that wasn't answering my questions. After hours of waiting, I received a link that still didn't have the information I needed. I tried calling the number provided but there was no one to pick up. I fortunately found it after searching a text from months ago with a link of the access code.The check in process would be significantly simpler and more reassuring if the link is sent through email and is accessible on Vrbo somewhere too."

"I had a "partial lake view" room and it was about what i expected- Mostly it showed the rest of the resort. Not much of a view of the lake unless i stepped outside my room and walked down to the stairs to the beach. I Might try the full lake view room next time. Overall it was a great expereince and the staffing was very good w keeping the parkings lots skraped and accessible during the bad winter storms of Feb '26. I plant to return here again durung the summer. "

"Host was very welcoming and the cottage is adorable. We will definitely rent this place again, maybe in the Fall. The only issue was the heat was too warm even though we set it completely to the left. The cottage was warm when we arrived. "

"The room was clean, the staff was courteous and we were able to check in about 30 minutes early. The only issue was the TV remotes were extremely difficult to understand. The provided instructions were for a different remote that they are no longer using. It took us about 30 minutes to figure out how to get the TV running so that we could watch some Olympics coverage. And of course the staff leave at 4 PM so there is nobody on site to help you on the 24 hour line is not very helpful for things that you need for the room. Finally, although they provided soap and a hairdryer and toilet paper, they did not provide shampoo or conditioner as they had told me they would when I checked in. The kitchen was well stopped and had everything we needed. The provided coffee grounds were terrible, but the kitchen amenities were very good. I would say that the room did not look anything like the pictures. This is an older property with older cabinets and fixtures and showers. I would not say this is a luxury unit, but it is clean, very warm, safe, on the lake and very close to all the resorts. "

"Fell immediately so in love with the view and dock here! Felt like a very safe area. Knew it was an older home going in to it, that being said a few key upgrades would go a long way into making this a 5 star stay. The deck could use a table/chairs as there were none, the older tv with dish worked for a few minutes before saying it couldn’t connect so a smart tv that guests could login to would be great, the king bed needs a real mattress and the water pressure needs looked at by a plumber as there is no pressure upstairs, firewood provided in winter would also be amazing as the central heat doesn’t carry upstairs where the rooms are and it was very cold at night. Also only having 3 coffee mugs for a house that sleeps 7 was weird, I just kept washing them! Hot tub worked great and the rest of the rooms were comfortable, location of house to great restaurants & a cafe was amazing. Would stay again if upgraded a bit!"
