"We enjoyed the stay overall. It was good, not great. The check in was extremely busy and I was not prepared for how busy it would be here. There were people everywhere. The bathing pools were too full to be comfortable. The room is very expensive and quite outdated. Our bedding was very clean and the bed comfortable. The room did have a bit of a smell of a room that has been damp and dried out a million times. Likely due to the hot springs. Beautiful location. Very busy. Trying to get a table or a place at the bar at numerous places was very hectic. I should have done more research and gone at the least busy time of year. Small children ran wild up and down the halls until 11 pm on our floor. Despite our best efforts to enjoy, we ended up leaving a full night early. I did not seek a refund. I take 50% of the blame for that for not knowing the whole quaint town would be absolutely inundated."

"I am towing a 20 ft fishing boat and they don’t have any parking at Comfort Inn for boats, so I’ve parked in the adjoining Ricky’s Restaurant parking lot in previous years. This year the front desk warned me that the owner of the Ricky’s lot has been showing upon the middle of the night and having a Bylaw Office ticket and tow the vehicles! Great advice. I parked on a residential street a block away and it was all good in the morning. Thank you to Patricia at the front desk. Oh, by the way, good price, good room and great breakfast in the morning."

"Overall, a good stay for the price! The staff were accommodating, friendly, and very nice, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was also good, with plenty of choices. However, the breakfast menu was the same every day, so it would be nice to have different options each day. One downside was the smell. The place had a noticeable smoky odor, and the garage could have been cleaner. Despite that, I think the place is good value for the price. What I liked most was the location—it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which was a big plus for me. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d consider staying here again."
