Honestly, I have been to Morocco a number of times and I can honestly say as a family trip here this was a shocking experience. This whole trip was let down by the hotel and facilities. They have bed bugs, and the place is really unclean. They moved us after one day as they said our room was not ready when we arrived and put us in a floor and room which did not have any working taps, blocked toilet and was very unclean. I don’t leave reviews, I have been to over 20 countries and me and my wife was appalled by the whole experience. It’s on the strip of the beach but apart from that it’s a really bad experience in terms of stay, staff are really bad and need training and the food is awful.

Basic hotel, wouldn't recommend. Some staff bad!
The hotel is a 3star at best and in need of some serious TLC. It's a shame because it could have great potential with the beachfront location but there is a clear lack of guidance/training from management and some staff do not want to be there!!! Some bar staff also do not have a clue...we got a margarita one night and it was pure lemon juice(not lime) and tequila with no conitreau, it was so strong and gross i couldn't drink it, see pic. We had a sea view room which was nice but our balcony door did not lock, we got maintenance to fix this but it broke again - the courtesy room balcony door was also broke so i think they are all just needing replacement. The beds are comfy and clean but the floors in the rooms and especially the bathrooms always seemed dirty(like you could see on the towels the dirt coming off the floors) so they aren't being mopped properly. We only went B&B thankfully as the buffet breakfast is chaotic and has no structure, very little fruit or options other than sweet breads/pastries, there also wasn't enough seating in the restaurant. Most of the staff are so lovely and helpful but we witnessed one extremely rude encounter with a woman called "Nora" from guest services. The way she spoke to two English guests in front of us was the worst manners i have ever seen from someone working in hospitality, she was disgraceful and should not work in the industry! If you want good restaurants walk 10 mins up the promenade to O'Playa, Jade and El toro.

The hotel was very clean. The pool and beach areas were nice. The waterslides were fun. The entire hotel is very worn. Breakfast was bland and boring. I tried to branch out with some of the variety offered, but quality was poor and we stopped going day #3. The gym was dated and had limited hours.

Property is very worn & in need of a refurb. When we first arrived we thought it’s a 3 star hotel but as the week went on it got worse & worse. There are 3 lifts in the hotel & 1 did not work our entire stay. The other 2 worked intermittently & on 2 days none of the 3 worked. Breakfast was ok but the omelette station & msemmen station were understaffed. So there would always be a queue & the bigger the queue got, the smaller the portions got & the staff would get irritated if you asked for 2 portions. The staff were very rude & seemed lazy or that they just didn’t care. On arrival I saw a member of staff at reception say to a guest “I don’t have time for you right now” in quite an abrupt manner & just left him standing there bemused. One morning at breakfast, a waiting staff was asked by a guest for cutlery & they picked dirty cutlery up from a table that had not been cleared, wiped it with a dry cloth & hand it off to them. All in plain sight. The guest saw & was furious but the member of staff insisted he didn’t & then threw his arms in the air & walked off. The hotel offers currency exchange & the rates seem reasonable that they put up on the boards. However every morning I asked, I was either told “come back in the afternoon” or “we don’t have cash now” or “we’re too busy at the moment.” i gave up after going to them twice a day for my first 3 days trying to exchange money. I would not stay at this place again under any circumstance.

On my confirmation it was written free lynch and free dinner, but at the hotel upon check-in they told me that we could only have free breakfast and free dinner. Before booking the hotel, I called Orbitz and spoke with a representative who told me that breakfast is included in the price, and if I add Lynch and Dinner, then we will have 3 meals a day. But as a result, we only had 2 x one meal.

The woman at the reception was short with me. When I arrived at my room, immediately had issues: food stuck on the mirror, mini fridge had multiple hairs in it, shower stall had black mold all along the trim and balcony door DID NOT LOCK. I returned to reception. The same woman saw me and said, what is wrong? I said, you want me to say right now? She said yes and so I told her. She proceeded to say, we will check the room and I said, you mean, you do not believe me? I have been in the room 5 minutes. I choose to walk away instead of argue with her. Later, a supervisor arrived with housekeepers. She said she would clean the room. While my Moroccan Arablic is not perfect, one of the housekeepers said someone stayed in the room and hadn't been cleaned. I demanded to have a new room assigned. I was EXHAUSTED and needed to rest. She said the woman at the reception would not let me change rooms and that she thought I had made the room messy. What choice did I have at this point? I took a deep breathe and stepped away while the room was cleaned over the following 30-40 minutes. The housekeepers did their best. The door was never fixed and as a woman traveling by myself, I spent the night nervous someone would come into the room. I was unable to rest and this stay was an utter disaster. WOULD NEVER RETURN.

first time staying at Atlas Amadil and I will continue to stay here. I love the layout of the property, it's big and has all the amenities you would expect. The pool area is well maintained and has great accommodations for kids. Our room was wonderful, We had a relaxing view on the ocean on the first floor, sunsets were so splendid to watch from the comfort of my terrace. The front desk really shined in our stay. We would like to thank everyone for their efforts and help, a special thank you note goes to Hanane and her supervisor who went above and beyond. The hotel is nice and fairly clean and has good amenities but the food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) are really terrible and not worth the money. Also, somedays the room service takes a longtime to even answer the phone, let alone bring you what you want. All in all, if your are lookig for a decent hotel on the beach for the a good price you can't go wrong with this hotel but when it comes to food and service, its not so good.

The rooms were big and clean and the view was fabulous but the staff especially at the reception wasn’t friendly at all

Needs improvement
Room: 230 Pros: Bed, shower, size of room, free bottle of still water, toiletries Cons: 2 of the lights were not working, balcony view was not great on the second floor, had no toilet water spray (bear in mind this is a 4* hotel so I found that shocking), toilet seat was also a bit out of place but still useable, sink is quite low and not deep so difficult to wash face without getting water on to the floor.. Overall I would give it a 4.5/10

Good hotel
The overall stay was good, the hotel could do with maintenance. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Marina is a 45min walk away, McDonald’s 20mins walk. Overall it was good would go again but not have the breakfast x

A great location and a facility, however I was asked to pay hotel reception 1000 dirham in cash to change my two reserved room to a better view instead of no view at all looking at concrete.

Pool area and water slides very good, pool attendants always accommodating. front desk service poor, very noisy in the evenings, not suitable if you want to an early nights sleep of have young children. Breakfast options terrible.

service levels are poor to non existent, there is no customers service, reception staff are rude and blatantly ignore you, they speak English fine but when you ask them a question they will start talking with you then walk away, rooms are dirty, they provided us with a room but changed it 4 times in 24 hours the final room we were given the previous guests were leaving the room and we were told this was the only room available for us which was in a complete state of shock. we were ask to pay extra for sea view but were given a room which you could only see the restaurant roof and the side wall of the hotel, they said take it or leave it but refused to refund our money to find another hotel. absolutely disgraceful experience. never go here again....!!
