"We had a wonderful time! The pictures make this rental appear smaller than it is in person. The deck and outdoor sitting area are very spacious, and the living/kitchen area was bigger than I was expecting too. We ended up taking a paddle on the canoe as a family and it was so peaceful out on the water. 5 stars all around! "

"I cannot say enough, good things about this host and house! We stayed in this beautiful, huge, seasonally decorated, comfortable house for a long weekend in order to take our Polar Express train ride in Palestine, Texas. Our host was extremely gracious and attentive and kind. There were seven adults,1 teenager, and 4 young children in our group. We were all incredibly comfortable and happy. The game room was open and beautiful, and the kids enjoyed “exploring” and nature walks (supervised) while the adults enjoyed extremely comfortable beds and futons as well as cooking and sharing early holiday fun as a family! The quiet, privacy in a peaceful country setting also made for some awesome stargazing! 10 stars!"
