It was everything it was described as - the scavenger hunt was a huge highlight! The only downside was the abundance of lady bugs, but our 7 year old was thrilled of the luck that brought. We had a great time.

This was such an amazing castle! The detail and great aesthetic was exactly how it was described! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the hot tub felt great after a long drive! I have older teens and they LOVED the secret bookshelf! This really was such a magical stay! Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect mini vacation. The Castle was amazing! We had everything we needed plus more. We all enjoyed the treasure hunt. We didn’t turn the tv on once. Just enjoyed family time together making memories in a unique fun filled setting.

Wonderful experience

This property was very fun. They have put so much work into the castle experience! The scavenger hunt was a huge hit with the kids. I wish that the hot tub wasn't locked, as it was listed with a hot tub as an amenity, and that was something I was looking forward to a lot.I tried to contact the host, with no luck.

Our stay at the Castle was a really fun and unique experience! I would highly recommend it! The details throughout the castle were excellent and we enjoyed exploring all the different nooks and features. The treasure quest was an added bonus and as 4 grown adults we had so much fun in completing our quest. I am not posting any pictures because I think it would be a better experience for you to get your own "first looks" at it while staying there yourself! This is an amazing, but NEW place and there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, and the owners responded very quickly! Go spend some time at the Castle of Kingston - you will not be disappointed!

The initial awe factor is present, as it is very unique. However, the owner was present when we arrived an hour after the check-in time and was doing outside construction on a koi pond, which is odd. Additionally, we had done a walkthrough and noticed a keypad locked door that was closed at first walkthrough was open later. The smoke detectors had been removed. There were spiders and layers of dust everywhere. The beds were uncomfortable and it just left us with a general sense of unease. We were also unaware of the Alexa device inside the home, which we feel should have been disclosed. To summarize:1) Initially cool2) Lack of privacy with owner being present for awhile after check-in3) Still semi-under construction4) Pests not under control and a bit unclean and dusty5) Safety concerns with smoke detectors removed6) Creep factor with a locked door that was initially closed being found open laterWe cut our stay short, as there were too many privacy, safety and health concerns.
