Find a Great Motel Acireale

"The hotel was a perfect place to stay in Acireale. This was our second time at this hotel and it was just as good as we remembered. Deborah and Rita were both incredibly helpful and made our visit even that much more enjoyable."

"Mario is a delightful and oh-so-helpful host for his beautiful space. He goes out of his way to help, and it makes the life of a traveler so much easier. The space itself is lovely, with the 3rd floor (kitchen and deck and sitting area) being the stand-out. We personally loved the bells chiming (6 a.m. - 10 p.m.). We were a group of 4, two single women and a couple, and the space gave us all both our privacy and our communal space. I cannot give a big enough shout-out to Mario---thank you SO MUCH!!"

"The hotel is situated at a convenient and central location for Acireale. There is everything you might need nearby and a pretty little park just across the street. The room was clean and well made, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated having an empty minibar fridge. The one thing I am unhappy with is the lack of availability in the hotel's parking. I booked three rooms at this hotel because we were 6 people due to arrive in 2 cars and parking was important to us. The amenities of the hotel listed free parking before I booked. Low and behold, we arrived late in the evening only to be told by hotel staff that the parking had to be prearranged and that I should have had to warn them in advance I needed parking because they only had 10 spaces which were all occupied at the time of our arrival. Nowhere during or after the booking process was I warned of having to warn the hotel about needing parking, nor did it cross my mind considering it listed parking as free. I had even read other people's reviews who were all happy about the parking and no word of warning was uttered. I checked my bookng email confirmation and, again, I found nothing to this effect. I found this a dishonest practice and I would recommend you get in touch with the hotel to secure parking beforehand as it does mean you have to roam the streets to find a free or paid parking space."

"Room clean, actually had the choice of two rooms once we arrived. Parking is right outside the gate, access is simple. Gisella and Orazio were great hosts and explained everything very well."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Tecla Palace. The facilities were excellent - beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea, just like the photos. Plenty of sunbeds to relax in. Easy access to swim in the sea from the hotel, with lifeguards on duty. Delicious food at all the restaurants. There isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding area - we walked into the nearest town one evening but we decided that the bars and restaurants on offer at the hotel were much nicer. This was perfect for us as we had intended our short trip to be a relaxing one based in the hotel, but for anyone hoping to explore Sicily a bit more I'd recommend renting a car, as taxis can be expensive. "

"Peppe is a very nice host, very responsive and attentive to all our needs.He gave us all the advices about the surrounding areas, restaurants, lidos, swimming, parking, etc. and was very easy to communicate with.We had access to two kitchens and they were very nicely equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the house. We had very nice breakfast in the garden with the view of mountain Etna and enjoyed outdoors shower.Swimming in the area is possible from the the wooden platforms built among black volcanic rocks, all of them including private ones are open to public by the local law to get to the water. There are also public platforms for sunbathing and a small public beach in town with black volcanic sand. We enjoyed a trip to Taormina and a boat tour in the bay. Very nice and relaxing place!"

"Amazing stay in this dreamlike castle. Liliana was very helpful. Off the beaten path spot, we were the only foreigners in town. Close to major spots. Only suggestion would be new towels but highly recommend staying here."
