Albergo modesto e semplice, magari forse ha goduto di tempi migliori. Pro camere spaziose e pulite, parcheggio auto all'interno dell'hotel che per Acitrezza non è poco. Contro servizi essenziali e reception affidata a personale giovane e poco preparato. Prezzo Ok così si fa perdonare le mancanze.

We had a horrible experience! We arrived at around 20.30 and were greeted in the parking by the manager. We were informed that the lift was not working and were escorted to the reception through the service door. We paid for our stay (2 nights) and immediately we were informed that the AC was not working. Of course this was a problem for us as it was a heatwave. They insisted on showing us the room as they were convinced that once we would see the room we would decide to stay. The room's décor was outdated and extremely hot so we were offered a room at a nearby hotel for the first night until the AC was fixed. We were informed that we were the only guests which felt very weird but understandable given the state of the so called hotel. The manager offered us a junior suite with sea view due at the other hotel due to the inconvenience and invited us back at the Marina hotel the next night as the AC would have been fixed by then. We were assured that this other hotel was accessible on foot however it turned out to be 25 minutes away on foot which is not as close as we told. We struggled to find this other hotel as it was in the middle of nowhere not in the center where we wished to stay. We checked in at this hotel and were then shown to our room which was in a state of complete disrepair. The next day we left Aci Trezza and found another hotel as we did not want to return to Marina Hotel. Wasted money, stay away!!

Disappointing Hotel in a decent location

The hotel building and rooms are good. Spacious, clean with a good maid service. It doesn't offer 4 star service. The reception staff are lovely but hopeless. They could not help with trips and didn't even know that there was a bus service with a stop outside the hotel to Catania. They made no attempt to provide gluten free and dairy free products for us despite my requesting it on the booking and subsequently when we were there...which really isn't good enough as these things are available from the little supermarket in the same street. The buffet breakfast was sad, limited and repetitive -certainly not 4 star...and we had to provide our own. The car park below should be free for guests. Once again I got conflicting information from reception about paying for it. One person said I could pay at the end of my stay at check out, another said I had to pay the man in the car park...and final settlement of car park and local tax had to be in cash? Is this a 4 star hotel or a street trader? Not able to use credit card. Absurd. Overall poor service from what could be a lovely hotel. Need to sharpen their act with respect to guests needs and be more helpful about local knowledge and improve the food on offer.

Nice hotel, nice staff, and nicely located. I would like to improve breakfast. Airport shuttle service is very convenient but it consists of a taxi 50 EUR not negotiable which is too expensive for a distance of 15.5 km!

Hotel in buona posizione a pochi passi dal lungomare di Acitrezza. Parcheggio 5 euro al giorno per gli ospiti dell'hotel.colazione completa, ma di scarsa qualità.servizio non eccelso. Camere grandi, confortevoli e pulite.giudizio complessivamente positivo.

NON HA NULLA DEL 4 STELLE

camera grande e spaziosa, ma non trovo altre note positive, ho camminato 30 secondi a piedi nudi e mi sono trovata i piedi neri, le condizioni del bagno non sono per nulla adatti a un 4 stelle e nelle piastrelle accanto alla vasca da bagno c'erano i segni lasciati dal sapone come se non fossero pulite da anni, il climatizzatore era gestito dall'hotel nel senso che per alzare o abbassare la temperatura bisognava telefonare, ma cio' che mi ha lasciata davvero senza parole e' stato il fatto che siano entrati in camera pur sapendo che eravamo lì, una ragazza dell'hotel ha aperto la porta con una seconda chiave mentre ero nella vasca con la porta del bagno aperta perche ovviamente mai avrei pensato che potesse entrare qualcuno, e non si sono neanche scusati per l'accaduto. tutto questo da un 4 stelle e' inaccettabile. per concludere ho pagato 68 euro e mi hanno rilasciato una fattura di 52,00.
