"Acerenza is een meer dan 2000 jaar oud stadje gelegen op een bergtop van meer dan 800 m hoog met in het centrum een Romaanse kathedraal. Het huis ligt in één van de smalle stegen dichtbij een parkeerplaats van dit stadje. Het pand is oeroud, maar totaal gerenoveerd. De overwelfde slaapkamer bevindt zich op een lager niveau dan de woonkeuken, waardoor die heerlijk koel blijft. "We were in two rooms below ground level, which were quiet, but no airflow. One room had a shower that was too small for an adult. They were clean and relatively comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was pastry and yogurt. We were able to park in one of the garages, otherwise, parking could be difficult. The location is awesome - very hard to find initially - it looks like it’s impossible to get to, but once you know, you know. Guessing that their other rooms may be nicer."

"Excellent hotel in the heart of Rionero in Vulture. Quiet and clean, with a super attentive owner who prepared us a lovely breakfast of homemade cakes and pastries 😋 with plenty of juices and coffee to go. Extra bonus, there is an excellent restaurant next door with superb food made on order - it takes a little longer than average to be served but it:s well worth the wait!!!!"
