Sun Lodge - Pleasant But Could Use Better Carpets

Staff is friendly, facilities are functional, space in the room is awesome, restaurant is functional, overall stay experience is pleasant. I have been staying here since 2003 and have never had occasion to regret. The only negative factor is a musty odour in the rooms, perhaps due to carpet.

Good business hotel

For a modest room rate and decent environment it was well equipped for a business meeting in one of several conference rooms.

Not close to the airport as advertised

The hotel was advertised and booked as being close to Accra airport. It was in fact 30 minutes drive away. I did not even get there so can't comment on its condition. I feel mislead

Hotel is in all aspect operating on an average level. Keeping in mind the fact that we are not in west European environment, we may even give it a little higher score. Situated in Accra, the price quality ratio is also acceptable. But then again, it is not the best you will and can find. For a short stay up to a week it complies fine.

Quite centrally located

Expensive for what you get but surely not a bad place to go in Accra as better quality is a lot more expensive. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast buffet acceptable but not more.

Business trip

We had a short stay for work, the staff was very helpfull and polite.The rooms were old fashion, very clean, but the beds were expremely hard, we moved 3 rooms until we found acceptable matresses. The food in the restaurant was prepared at the time of ordering and was fresh. I found the hotel rate too expensive for the kind of amenities they offer.

A nice experience

The hotel is exceptionally nice and clean. The services are good however there are rooms for improvement especially on the 24hours services. I wanted the service of the restaurant around 2am and i was surprised to learn that they've closed for the day.
