"Our stay at the lake was AMAZING thanks to Rachel and her dedication to making everything perfect! From the amenities, boats, kayaks, parking, access to the lake, and even the recommendations left, we will not stay at another location when we come to Lake Martin!Acapulco Island and Chimney Rock are just around the bend, and the distance to the Marina cannot be beat. Neighbors were kind, welcoming, and Rachel left us a basket of treats for the weekend! My father was celebrating his birthday, and she left us a list of things to do, made her home a welcome spot, and also left a birthday card and other treats! I can't say enough about our wonderful stay! So grateful for Rachel, her beautiful home and its roominess for all of our families, and the welcoming atmosphere of the area!"

"GPS takes you directly to the home. I didn't realize the home was so close to neighbors, but the neighbors were so friendly and were not a bother at all. The home was very clean. Bathrooms come with towels, hand towels, and hotel style shampoo/conditioner/soap (We did not use these products, we brought our own). There is 1 shower (No tubs) in each bathroom. Although the home is only 2 bedroom/2 bath, it has AMPLE room to spread out. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, and they are VERY comfortable. If I were to stay in this home in the winter, I would have requested additional thicker bedding, but since it's summer, the bedding that is on the beds now is fine. The sheets felt like clouds! There is a brand-new washer and dryer that is in the master bathroom that we used 1 time. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes to cook with and eat with. All main appliances (they all look brand new), and even a few small appliances are included (Wine opener, microwave, small crock pot) For some reason, the dishwasher would not turn on and we were unable to get the outlet to work at the dock for us to plug up our boat battery. I do believe this was due to a breaker, not faulty outlets. Neither of these were deal breakers for us & I notified the owner as we were leaving. My family and I really enjoyed staying here, it was very quiet, and peaceful! "

"The house was great for our two families with kids ranging from 2-9. The bunk room with the loft was great for the kids. The access to the lake was easy and convenient. Our 22’ boat was easily able to be tied off to the dock. The kids really enjoyed jumping off and swimming off the dock."

The home itself was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and well stocked with everything we could possibly need.Communication with the host was smooth and easy, which made check-in and planning a breeze.The highlight for the kids (and honestly, the adults too) was fishing off the dock at night—they had an absolute blast!Highly recommend!"
