Quiet Getaway cozy cabin directly on Lake Martin

  • Located on almost flat private lot with fenced in yard. All kitchen amenities. Near Wind Creek State Park (2 miles by water), 50 minutes from Montgomery 1 hour from Birmingham 45 minutes from Auburn,50 minutes from Talladega race track and 8 minutes from Alexander City. Super Walmart 8.5 miles. Boat ramp ( 1 block ),several great restaurants within about seven minutes.Why rent a condo when you can have your own private floating swim pier with beautiful clear deep water( great fishing or any water activities)you can see sunrise across lake or sit on the large screened in porch over looking the lake,while drinking coffee or while tending to the onsite grill. Looking for quiet,peaceful getaway vacation this is it. no smoking no pets inside.

The view was great! And so peaceful. The house did so much remind me of my grandma's house, but had all the amenities we needed, very well furnished! The king size bed was very comfortable. Our host was most special, a very nice accommodating host. Was very nice of him to come around and introduce himself and check on us.

Cabin on the Lake

It was wonderful and so what 4 friends needed. Sitting on the porch overlooking Lake Martin was picturesque. The cabin was clean and everything we needed was right there for our use. The manager was helpful and friendly. A great place to stay, relax or fish.

Perfect quiet lake house

This was an ideal location for us. My son and husband spent the days at Monster Mountain MX and my daughter and I relaxed at the quiet lake. O.C. was easy to get ahold of and was courteous.

this was the perfect for 4 class of 1978 men on the 'guys weekend." The quiet location is incredible. we enjoyed the porch and the floating dock. We took the short trip to the brewery in Opelika and drove through the auburn campus as well.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The mornings were very enjoyable, sitting on the screened in deck, sipping coffee, and relaxing while watching a gray heron making his daily rounds around the lake. We were close enough to various hiking trails and took our inflatable kayak on the lake, which was right out the back door. Can recommend this VRBO!

Charming, comfortable, quiet, and amazing views

This is a little gem! Right on the water. Easy to access and the owner is such a nice gentleman. It’s an older lake home with all the charm. Felt like we were staying with family. There is a dock where you can park a boat or swim. The community has its own boat ramp with easy access. Will def stay again. The back porch overlooks the lake and the home had everything we needed. Very clean and just a comfortable place to relax. Grocery and supplies just 10 mins away. Very little boat traffic and just beautiful view of sunrise and the lake.
