Helpful, friendly staff. There were lots of animal interactions available for reasonable prices. The rooms were older but clean. It was nice to see the animals after sundown when most zoo guests had left for the day. A very fun experience.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It took time for the shower to warm up. Oorgetuige it was a great room. We came in very late. We told the hotel we would be. They took care of everything as soon as we arrived. They made it a very easy process to check in and out

Resort was large and had many rooms. Room was okay, could do with it being renovated as rooms look like they’ve just been repaired numerous times without replacing/renovating. First room had a bit of a gutter smell. Overall was okay and staff were very friendly and helpful. Could call and the staff would deliver promptly. Zoo was excellent and lots of different animals, very different experience to your normal hotel

A Great Experience

Breakfast let it down but the rooms were clean, staff friendly and free zoo entry for the stay means you can make multiple trips to see your favourite animals. Our room door was opposite some animal pens which gives you a closer experience with some of the animals compared to the zoo experience.

A mixed experience

The room itself is spacious and aesthetic, it comfortable with a small sitting area, dining area. For one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel the amenities are very basic, there was no hair dryer or iron. We ordered room service from the restaurant it took 1 and a half hours to get to us but was tasty when we got it. The breakfast for room service with the chalet was ok like basic take away food in plastic takeaway packaging but was more than enough. I was expecting that there would be a giraffe encounter as part of the giraffe room or a chance to feed the giraffe for the price of the room, this would make the experience better since the giraffes are quite far from view. The rooms needs a few updates like the bedroom broken mirror, the bathroom door needs to be changed. We all really enjoyed the wildlife zoo we saw all the big cats feeding which was very special, the kids especially loved stroking the snakes looking at the owls. There was a very knowledgeable member of staff who guided us through each of the big cat feeding sessions, he shared very insightful facts about the animals. All the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids also enjoyed their time at the pool, it's was clean and safe. The life guard was very good in making sure all the kids were safe and let us know if there was any danger. Thank you

Did not have any towels in the room for showering. Staff was out by the pool at 11:30pm running a loud vacuum. Some staff with little kids running around pool area being very loud at 11:30pm. Poor signage for direction through the Zoo area to find the restaurant.

Great stay !

What is great in this small hotel (27 suites only) is obviously that it is inside the zoo (facing the zebras, giraffes and oryxes area). Take care that only superior rooms have a view on the zzo, so go for these ones ! You have direct and unrestricted access to the zoo. This is a great place to go with kids. All animals in the zoo are used to being fed by visitors and they will constantly come and see you to get food (bring with you bananas from outside for the giraffe as they are crazy about them and get ready to spend AED 100+ to buy leaves inside the zoo for other animals – just avoid the biscuits for the monkeys as they actually do not like them too much and this is wasted money). The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms have apparently been renovated quite recently, there is a small kitchen with a micro-wave. The furniture and carpets are a little bit dated but frankly you do not go to this place for the comfort of the room. The staff is very professional and friendly.
