When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. "The cottage was lovely to stay in very peaceful, clean and had everything we needed for our stay .Plenty of parking, lovely garden and plenty of seating so you could watch the river and all the different bird s that came to feed. Host was very friendly and helpful. And the key s were easy to get . Lovely drive down the road under the arch of amazing tree s . Lovely to be able to walk along the path into Barmouth and to the pub for a nice evening meal."

"The Tyr Castle is a lovely old building with lots of character.Trudy is very welcoming ,and nothing was to much trouble. Food was great , cooked to Order ,piping hot on hot plates. Victor the barman and waiter was efficient and friendly.Views are spectacular , we were lucky to have a small balcony which we could sit out on. Only downside was a very small shower cubicle,but given age of property understandable. Easy parking in front of building. We had a very relaxing weeks holiday ."

"The Fanny Talbot apartment no.3 is an excellent holiday stay. I would thoroughly recommend it. But if I was to be really really critical I would say that a full length mirror would be a added benefit especially for the shorter people and a wall shelf in the bathroom would definitely help. Otherwise this property is fully equipped with everything you could need."

"Shona was an absolute delight. Such a friendly welcome. Parking was just outside the front door. Situated on the sea front just over the sandunes to the beach. Very comfortable room with arm chairs and foot stools situated so we could gaze over the sea. A lovely place to explore Barmouth from. I would definitely, and probably will go back. I wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay. Very happy with the accommodation."
