"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"Staff were excellent and made such a fuss of my mum on her birthday .
The only ( and this is not huge) strange thing was that the bar closed at 9.30pm which was rather odd, but this did not deter from a fabulous stay , we will be back "

Romantic and cosy cottage, countryside views, near to the beach and mountains
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, we would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anybody looking for a stay in the area.Upon arrival, we found the cottage to be very clean and to have all the facilities as listed. The host, Gary, was very friendly and helpful, giving tips on how best to use the oven when we arrived and making sure we had everything we needed. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the Snowdonia national park and most of north Wales. We were really please with the walkability to Harlech beach and the close access to shops and attractions nearby. The cottage itself was very comfortable and maintained extremely well. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design, and the overall feel of the cottage was very premium. Overall, it is almost impossible to find fault in this cottage and in the host also, who was always the perfect mix of being friendly when he saw us, but not at all intrusive. We would definitely return here again in the future!"
"Such friendly service, great rooms, lovely and quiet, very nice beds and pillows, fantastic room. Paring right outside the door. My second time staying here, would heartily recommend."

"We have stayed in many cottages along the Cambrian Coastline, but this is by far our favourite. Cottage is just beautiful, location is amazing with views from the garden and upstairs windows our son is train obsessed so he could watch the passing trains from his room even if raining.Close to local amenities, beach, caravan club house etc. Will 100% be rebooking."
Self Catering Barn Dyffryn Ardudwy in Snowdonia | Moelfre

"Outstandingly beautiful place to stay, high in the hills, with just the sound of sheep bleating. The accommodation was exactly as listed and was finished to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable. I felt very safe as a lone traveller. "
"Wow, this was so quiet, it was amazing. Literally silence. It was a really great to just stop. There was no TV, no radio, nothing. Literally forced to unwind. It is really well placed for Harlech and even down to Barmouth. But sitting outside in the morning having breakfast was just spectacular. The only noise I heard was someone in the flat upstairs, but apart from that, didn't hear any noise. I parked opposite the property, but I'd recommend parking I the village and walking up and down.
Note: it is just a bath and not a shower."
