Really nice hotel, excellent large rooms and they really were supportive of our elderly parents. Good bar, good cava. Bit of a mess up on out last day where we booked the restaurant for lunch to make it all work with checking out, visiting the Guggenheim, booked lunch in the hotel (every bilbaoan seems to eat out for lunch so it is quite a task to find a place for 5) when it turned out that the restaurant wasn’t even open for lunch. We ended up in a place across the road where I actually didn’t want to go and it was not the food I wanted and more expensive. That was a shame because everything else was really good and nice.

First of all, accept our sincere apologies regarding to the air conditioning system. At our hotel is not able to have connected at meantime hot and cold air because of having only one air vent that can be used or for hot or cold. Because of that reason, it depends on the season for us. For winter and autumn we have central heating working and for summer and spring the air conditioning.

Beautiful Bilbao
Posted 5 Oct. 2019 on HotelsIt was our second stay in an NH hotel (prior to that, we stayed at NH Vigo) the rooms were comfortable, the beds can be better - twin size beds together do not make a full/queen size bed. I have traveled in Europe before, and this is not uncommon but they challenge the tourist to a quick adaptation to a different sleeping style. The A/Cs on the room can also be better, and cool the night for a better sleep. The bathrooms were comfortable, clean, and functional. The restaurant, and breakfast buffet was the best - thank you all very much!
Location of the hotel could not be better - downtown Bilbao! Walking distance to many attractions ...
Will come back to Bilbao soon, and will consider NH for our next stay!

Lovely welcome, close to bus station, greets room with all amenities and a few welcome extras eg slippers, nice toiletries

Nice hotel but needs to improve its room service. Missing towels, soap after the room was made during our stay. We had to call almost every morning to request the aforementioned necessities.
