"Hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Pool was nice and had a great view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location is a bit far from town but they had a free shuttle so we didn’t mind. "

"Nice hotel and really friendly staff. However, Expedia listing said the villa would have a pool and a 'private hot tub'. I found the pool...hard to miss! When I asked where the hot tub was, I was told that the 'private hot tub' was actually just the bath in the bathroom which came with both cold and hot tap and was just for our use! I told them that a bath in the bathroom was not the same as a private hot tub but apparently Expedia had the wrong description as there are no hot tubs at any of the villas. I was also a little disappointed that the villa pool was not the infinity type as pictured on Expedia. The villa was described as 'valley view'. This is absolutely correct ie do not expect to see the river as you cannot, just the valley. "

"The villas had a peaceful and opulent feel, with beautiful natural quiet surroundings. The staff were lovely and did everything needed. Location from the centre of Ubud is a little out, but worth it for the serenity you get that downtown Ubud now no longer has. Great for couples."

"Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! Staff couldn’t do enough and everyone, from ground staff to housekeeping to management should be proud of your customer services, a truly fantastic experience, my wife and I can’t wait to come back."

"Beautiful surroundings close to nature with views of the mountains and ricefields. The rooms were constructed from recycled wood and tastefully decorated. Within the resort there are beautiful plants and flowers within the garden beds. The staff were very friendly and happy to help in any way. The breakfast was a'la carte with a variety of choices ,a bread/pastry basket was presented first with your tea or coffee. The open air restaurant uses locally resourced ingredients. The meals were beautifully presented and tasted just as good. They also offer many activities eg. spa, yoga, cooking class, canang Sari making. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing accomadation in Sidemen I highly recommend to stay here. Thank you to Sandi and all your staff for a memorable stay"

"The room has the perfect view of the animals, and you get to feed them with the food provided by the hotel. Imagine swimming next to Rhinos! The safari itself was a jewel, did not have enough time to explore the whole resort but I was able to see the elephant and tiger show, and I also did the night feeding, definitely a tremendous experience. "
