Newly redesigned, and inspired by luxury accommodations, we've fine-tuned our private guest room for a completely upscale and unique feel. We are a husband and wife team who are both focussed on comfort, hospitality, feel, and luxury aesthetics; our goal is to create an outstanding stay for you
What are the major features of our accommodation?
We feature gentle seaside colours, a large jacuzzi tub for relaxing in (bubble baths are highly encouraged for maximum enjoyment), a range of pillow densities to choose from, bathrobes, large fluffy bath towels, and comfortable sheets on a new tempurpedic mattress to dream-away on.

Is your area good for biking?
Yes. From family biking in and around our flat neighbourhood, to extreme mountain biking trails, we have it all. If you truly want, local professional mountain bikers can be found in the area - just ask!
What is it like to stay at our accommodation in the Summer?
Our suite is pleasantly cool in the summer, located on the lower floor, and great for sleeping comfortably in the evening.
What is it like to stay at our accommodation in the Winter?
We operate a wood stove full time, therefore if you love the cozy ‘crackle’ of a roaring fire in the fall, winter, and spring, we hope that you’ll enjoy an added layer of rural charm. We will tend the fire at all times, and there are electric baseboard heaters in the suite for added warmth if needed.
How many guests can stay at one time?
Our suite is most comfortable for three, and we're happy to provide a Twin or Queen air mattress for up to two extra guests.
Yes, we offer linen service
For a fee of $20 we would be happy to fully exchange your linens and towels.
Yes, we offer light housekeeping
For a fee of $25 we would be happy to provide a light clean in the suite and bathroom.
Yes, we accept dogs
Up to two dogs are accepted for a charge of $5 per day each pet. Please note that dogs may not be left alone. Barking or misbehaviour may result in stay cancellation.
An important note, we have an infant
Our daughter is turning one, and we do live upstairs. Please note that from time to time there will be some noise that is unavoidable.
Music lessons take place on the property, Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm
We are a musical family, and Wednesdays between 4pm and 6pm Daniel teaches drum set and piano lessons. If you are interested in finding out more for an even more exciting trip, just ask! Lessons for youth under 12 are $38 and 20 minutes, and for those over 12 $55 and 30 minutes in duration.
How do guests access the accommodation?
Access is via our carport door, leading to our downstairs floor with a large and entirely separate guest accommodation plus luxury ensuite bathroom, all yours to enjoy during your stay. The downstairs living space is shared only as an entrance, as it connects to the rest of the house, and is mainly reserved for you during your getaway.
Personal laundry is unavailable at our property for guests during their stay.
We have a number of easy and helpful recommendations in and around the area, from community amenities, to amazing local shops and markets, and seaside or forest strolls up and down the coast and Island. We'd love to share about some of the most memorable places with you.

We're a small family of three, Daniel, Kristine, and Amelia, all born and raised in the west coast of BC. We love to host great guests from all over the world. Come and enjoy our large private and upscale coastal accommodation inspired by the best of the best, and enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi tub soak with plenty of bubble bath.
What are the features of our neighbourhood?
Our neighbourhood is flat and highly walkable, with five beach access points leading towards the region's most well known beachside Provincial Park, Rathtrevor. The neighbourhood is perfect for biking, with a few more advanced options 5-10 minutes away.
What wildlife can be found in the area?
Our area is known among birdwatchers as one of the best and accessible areas. In the estuary, you'll find a significant number of bird species to spot on a nice day. All year-round, seasonal migrations pass through the area, from eagles, to the annual herring run in March, sea lions, harbour seals, to multiple pods of humpback whales. On a good day you’ll likely come across our transient families of killer whales.
