"The Matrix hotel just does everything a little better than most other hotels. The water pressure in the shower is great, the glasses and wineglasses are…well, glass, the hair dryer is salon quality. We also enjoy the restaurant - the breakfast buffet is great and the price is so reasonable. It’s our favourite place to stay in downtown Edmonton! "

"We stayed here to be near my father in the hospital. The hotel has comfortable rooms, which appear to be recently renovated and they also have excellent staff. We spent two nights here in January and this last stay was our third and fourth nights. We would definitely stay here again due to the central location to everything and the wonderful staff."

"One burnt out light bulb but otherwise everything was in good order. Spacious room. A bit cold in the bathroom but they had a heater in the closet so they had all bases covered. Friendly staff. Would stay in again."

"It was a ok stay. There was quite a bit of ice build up on the inside window frame. Would be nice to have actual cutlery and plates and glasses at breakfast instead of wooden cutlery, paper plates and cups. Parking cost ($10/night) was not clear upon arrival, you’d think parking would be included in your stay, I’ve never had to pay for parking at a hotel."
