"So many online reviews cite dated facilities, cleanliness concerns and a desperate need for upgrades, which is 100% true, but something I didnt see mentioned is that guest rooms ARE DIRECTLY ABOVE A NIGHTCLUB and it is impossible to get a good night's sleep. The thumping bass was loud until almost 3am, followed by the VERY loud crowd shouting outside until about 3:30am. We stayed here for the nearby triathlon and needed to get up before 5am the next morning. We had prepared ourselves for a no frills room to avoid some extra travel- the important thing was it was a place to sleep. So when the ONE purpose of the room was impossible, I'd give this hotel zero stars if I could. When we were headed out for the race at 5:30am, we saw someone randomly sleeping on the couch in the common area! The overall vibe is peculiar to say the least. Low price and location are NOT worth a loud sleepless night in a crappy room. Spend the extra dollars and stay ANYWHERE else."

"There was no parking, the handle was broken on our bathroom door, and no elevator. The pool was absolutely disgusting outside."

"I wasn't expecting the royal treatment but what I got was sub-par. I went up to the front desk where there were 3 people behind the desk helping one person. I said excuse jme a couple of times and no one acknowledged me. "

"Originally I booked my room through Expedia and it mentioned nothing about an “old part” versus the “renovated part” when booking a room. I got to the Cordova and checked into my room (thankfully they let me do an early check in, so nice of them) however upon entering my “old” room there was a dehumidifier with an air freshener sticking through the vent, when taking a closer look the vents were covered in black mold. Walking into the room it smelled very musty and was very warm. I asked to view a room on the newer side and to my surprise it was 100% different, very nice, clean, cool AC, so I paid the difference to upgrade. Would highly recommend the updated side, but I do not recommend the older side. Renovations are not finished - rooftop bar and restaurant to come. Only thing missing with this property is a pool! Staff was great, they made the swap very smooth and not stressful. The concierge gentleman was very knowledgable and kind. Bartenders make great drinks!"

"The cutest place ever but unfortunately just wasn’t clean. Food left in fridge , on ledge of bedroom window, bread crumbs under small dresser. Walls and doors lots of dirty handprints etc. Towels , the two we did have were all stained and looked like they had not been washed at all. Toothpaste on bathroom wall. Vents full of dirt!! Floors were clean!! Beds were clean and somewhat comfortable. Need thicker pillows. These are all suggestions to clean better because it is the cutest set up ever!! . Our stay otherwise was pleasant and quiet and I loved the location. Parking was awful but staff helped us kindly! Staff was very friendly and professional!! So again no complaints just suggestions to clean better or get others to helps so yall can have an awesome place for people like us who liked your little set up and worked out great for our little family with 2 kids!!! "This place is very nice spacious and located in good area. The Saint Petersburg pier is down the street, some many places walking distance to eat, bars, and more. I was lucky to see the street market with nice vendor and I did some shopping. The place is clean and has a nice kitchen i definitely want to come back with my family here. The minor thing was the coffee maker still had coffee on it so i washed it and I make a fresh pot of coffee. I did not use the valet parking I didn’t want to pay $40 bucks I parked in a economic parking place down the street."
