there was roaches everywhere, smelled like bleach the whole time and the pool was closed and i didn’t have a stove/hot plate in my room. then i had to wait to check in and it seemed like she had just woke up. not very nice customer service the sinks clog up so damn fast.

Should never take 45 minutes to check in. Especially when you advertise the desk is open til 9pm, and there's not one thing on any page for expedia about a $250 deposit. Definitely womt be back, though location and room are good. How is it that a manager cant check someone in?

The property is old. So there are some things that may not be up to the standard of some people. With that being said for it being an older property the place is clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is great. Great place for an affordable room.

This is obviously a very old and ill maintained hotel property. And as such, the price is low, but I still expect a certain level of cleanliness. The room was filthy! The bathroom tub hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, and the towels were filthy! They had visible yellow stains! I drip-dried rather than use them on my skin. The bed was loosely made and while the sheets appeared clean, the comforter was definitely not. As for the property, the office was a shambles, and the pool was green and dirty (it was closed). The staff were nice though, so no complaints there.

Everything was in bad shape. Major need of renovation! Linens were clean and no bugs that we seen, but would NOT recommend staying here.

Check in went very well. They let me check in at 11:00am, even though check ln wasn't until 3:00. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was as basic as could be. A VERY hard bed in a very small room. The water in the tub couldn't be shut off, so it ran constantly and formed a layer of mold in the tub.

The motel seems to be improving; considering previous reviews. Our room was clean and appeared to be freshly painted, with a tidy bathroom and fresh towels. The in-room kitchen had a good selection of appliances and utensils, though we only used the fridge. However, we found dead bugs in the tub and shower window on our second night, which was unpleasant. Noise from a loud argument in the neighboring room made it hard to sleep. On a positive note, members of staff were polite and courteous during our stay. Overall, a mixed experience with some positive aspects but room for improvement.

I got the delux room for the same price as a regular room. The delux room is basically an apartment with full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and bath. I'll stay there again next time i need a spot for the night.

Staff were nice the only thing maybe saving this place. Outside appeared decent. The rooms were disgusting, burn holes in rugs and cover, rusting lamps, old furniture. Will never stay again. Checked out early

My review

I stayed here because it was the only available room in a No-Evacuation zone in St Petersburg during Hurricane Milton. I felt safe knowing I was in a cinderblock building and had to hope the 2019 roof work included proper wind strapping because I was on the second floor. Unfortunately, the low reviews on the property are accurate. But, I am thankful for a place to stay during the storm. The two staff members I dealt with were very nice as well.
