"Had just one night’s stay at this hotel and wished we’d organised to stay a little longer. Very well situated for the high street and cathedral. Food was amazing- we had breakfast included and opted to have dinner there too. Ate dinner outside as it was such a lovely evening. Could not fault. "
"overall it was a nice stay - the hotel was having some small renovations - so a bit messy - however the staff were great - would have been nice to have more body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the room - tea & coffee for 4 cups was a great touch as so many other places visited only covered for 2 cups of tea a day..
great central location "

"friendly staffs.
We booked a few rooms together for a trip. One of the group arrived around 9pm and their room was given away. We paid ahead with all rooms booked well ahead.
They found a solution was to put my friends in next hotel across the street with upgrade.
How did this happen? our groups were split in 2 different places. I am pretty upset."

"The Executive Room had a fantastic full length window that allowed you to sit on a chair and view the cathedral.
A lovely welcoming slate mat with a couple of sweets in piece of fruit along with a hand written card on the table in the room when we arrived. A Lovely touch.
Comfortable bed, Clean room. Shower gel / shampoo available in the room. Clean and reasonable sized bathroom.
Excellent location for the city centre. Very quiet as well.
Didn't use the other facilities through choice as we ate out.
Parking available for a small additional charge. Although the spaces were quite small and you may struggle to park a large car.
Would go back."
