"Wykeham Arms is absolutely charming historic coaching inn/pub, enlivened by charming staff and decor. Our room was a fun mix of comfort and quirk. The bed was particularly comfortable (including linens, pillows).
Food at Wykeham arms is outstanding, creative and served with joy.
Small point-the upstairs stairwell could use a bit of a refresh."
"overall it was a nice stay - the hotel was having some small renovations - so a bit messy - however the staff were great - would have been nice to have more body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the room - tea & coffee for 4 cups was a great touch as so many other places visited only covered for 2 cups of tea a day..
great central location "
"The venue was nice but felt a little tired.
The window in the room we had did not shut properly as it was broken. The table in the room was sticky and dusty. The lift had a very poor paint job.
The bar had a limited choice of drinks
However the staff were friendly and the food at breakfast was good. Unfortunately there was a lack of small plates on the 1st morning and on the 2nd morning although there was a pile of plates in was actually a mixture of plates and saucers. It felt as if the place...

"friendly staffs.
We booked a few rooms together for a trip. One of the group arrived around 9pm and their room was given away. We paid ahead with all rooms booked well ahead.
They found a solution was to put my friends in next hotel across the street with upgrade.
How did this happen? our groups were split in 2 different places. I am pretty upset."

"Just wanted a hotel close to the cruise terminal so we could walk over in the morning. The Novotel ticked all the boxes and the weather was kind come the morning.
Room was as expected, clean and functional. No issues, decent stay and we used a credit from money earned from previous 10 stays."

"This is a grrat property to stay at if you are going on a cruise. Walking distance from the port depending on which one your ship is at. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was great."

"The Executive Room had a fantastic full length window that allowed you to sit on a chair and view the cathedral.
A lovely welcoming slate mat with a couple of sweets in piece of fruit along with a hand written card on the table in the room when we arrived. A Lovely touch.
Comfortable bed, Clean room. Shower gel / shampoo available in the room. Clean and reasonable sized bathroom.
Excellent location for the city centre. Very quiet as well.
Didn't use the other facilities through choice as we ate out.
Parking available for a small additional charge. Although the spaces were quite small and you may struggle to park a large car.
Would go back."
