“never go to this hotel, bad customer service, very rude, rooms were cold”

I booked this hotel with my flight together, i got there at 8 am and the me an receptionist told me she can not check me in till 2 pm, even though they had rooms. then at 2 pm after 7 hours of waiting they gave me a small size room that i didnt book, i was very upset and asked for the hotel manager that never showed up, after a long fight with the receptionist finally i got the room that i booked. room was cold no good heating system, there was an iron from 1972, that wouldnt even heat up. the hair dryer was 30 years old. room and sitting area were not clean. i called the room service to request an iron, he was very impolite and interrupted me 3 times before i say what i want. DO NOT GET THIS HOTEL.

“DO NOT STAY HERE”

How this hotel got 3 out of 5 stars is beyond me. Our beds and bathroom were dirty, the ceiling was covered in dirt or cracked. It smells, the prices aren't good and the doors are all beat up like someone's trying to break out! The only thing going for it is the staff who are very nice, otherwise there is no reason to stay here just AVOID it!

“Not Impressed”

The room felt stuffy, restroom smelled, to many doors and hallways. Glad they had a shuttle to airport.

Getting around

The train is the best way to get around. There is a shuttle that goes to the South Terminal and you can actually go anywere from there. Convinient Schedule.

“Horrible hotel”

Getting there was hard. They tell you they have a shuttle service from Gatwick airport, but they forget to mention it only runs every 90 minutes. The room was filthy. There were spider webs in the windows. Moldings were coming loose. There was actual rust along the sides of the bath tub. The sheets were dirty. On top of that, instead of a toll-free number, they have a premium charge number that costs more than normal phone calls, and when you finally reach them, they are borderline rude. In short, avoid this hotel at all costs.

There are several other budget hotels with shuttle service to Gatwick airport. It's hard to imagine how any of them could be worse.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel is very old, things alway seem to be broken. Although it was close to a bus stop to go to the nearest town, it would be better to get a hotel in Crawley, which is a lovely little town. I would not really recommend this hotel.

Crawley is the nearest town. It has a lovely shopping centre banks etc.

“EXCELLENT!!!!”

The first time i read about the hotel i really tought that my stay at it would be horrible. But to the suprise of me and my girlfriend it was excellent. I will be staying here in future visits and recommended to anyone in a budget.

Getting around

They have the bus that will pick you a the airport in gatwick and will leave you in front of the lobby. And to get to the train station Three Bridge you can get on the bus 100 the bus stop is 6 minutes away walking.

“Great place to stay for an early flight out of Gatwick”

Good, clean hotel. The staff was helpful and cheerful. It's near Gatwick, with a 10 min bus ride to the airport via the shuttle. The shuttle is free coming out but they charge 5 pounds sterling to ride back out, which was surprising.

“Impressed with service,cleanliness,comfort,hotel location, and surrounding neighborhood.”

The only comment I would like to make is the convenience of getting to your room This hotel needs an elevator. Considering that most of the guests are senior citizens,going or coming back from Harwich for a cruise, it was difficult to carry our luggages up the stairs. The hotel is very good otherwise. I will consider looking for another hotel next trip with an elevator.Thank you.

“It's not bad of a hotel in London.”

Although it has small beds but it is clean and has all essential amenities. We stayed there for three days. We figured out our shutle number and pickup point thru the airport information center. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free of charge, in exception of going from hotel to airport but the driver on that day did not take our money anyway. After all, it is very cheap price($$) for a hotel in London.

London Victoria, 'cause it has more to see....historic and attractive places.

Getting around

The main transportation in UK is rail road network or the tube. The closest train station from our hotel is the Three Bridges station( about 6 pounds for taxi). Getting to London Victoria( downtown) should require a London Metropolitan map and a rail road map. It costs about 13 pounds.

“Just as expected”

Room was clean. I particularly enjoy the ability to pay a small fee to use the swimming pool. The quality of food for the buffet dinner was not great.
