"Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. "The cabin itself was wonderful, just the right size for 2 people. The grill and accessories were dirty and needed cleaning. The kitchen had any dishes you could need. The bed, however, was abysmal!! We couldn’t sleep all night and ended up leaving at 5 in the morning. If the bed was replaced, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat."

Only two minor issues is that the owner could invest in slightly better wifi. Was able to get the little bit of work I needed to do done but it’s very slow. Also needs to buy new pillows for the beds. They were so flat, feel like they haven’t been changed out in a couple of years."

Great weekend get-away!
"This cabin is tucked away from the main road offering lots of privacy. There was adequate space for all of us to have our own bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for a group of 6. We found the house to be clean and tidy, including the hot tub which we enjoyed. We loved having a Keurig for coffee and the kitchen was well equipped with dishes/glasses/silverware and cooking items. Beds were comfortable. Our only negatives were that the furniture in the main living room creaks and seemed kind of old and dated/about to break? And the dishwasher didn't really seem to work but the hostess said she might replace that when I communicated that it didn't seem to be getting the dishes clean. Overall she was easy to communicate with, responded about any problems (even offered to let us stay at the house past check-out if we needed to!) and we had a great time in the Hocking Hills. I would recommend this cabin for a large group!"
