We had a wonderful time at Laikyn’s Lodge. . .it TRULY IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. It was perfect for a girl’s weekend. We loved the location and fabulous views, the openness of the main level, the beautiful decks, the pool and hot tub as well as the cozy and comfortable bedrooms. We hope to return next year!!!

Better than anything we imagined.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s absolutely amazing. You can tell the owners thought of everything and really care about the property. Relaxing, fun, incredible view. The pool is in great shape. The owners had Great and pleasant communication. We have stayed at many Vrbos and this has been our best stay overall. This might not matter to some people but even the checkout is easy, only asks you to do a couple of things whereas other places have had a laundry list to complete the morning of checkout.

Retreat

We spent the weekend for a strategic retreat and had a great time. The lodge is spacious, comfortable, and clean. There was plenty of room for 12 of us to work and relax.

Wonderful vacation home

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying every aspect of this house! The view from the deck was amazing and we spent every evening on the deck or around the fire ring! The indoor pool was enjoyed by the whole family! Very clean!

Wonderful Place for Large Groups

We had a wonderful weekend here with a large group of folks. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the pool, and the adults loved the hot tub and fireplaces at night. Communication throughout the entire time was top notch. We will come here to stay again with a large group!

Family Reunion

This was a perfect place for our reunion. Several families, 4 young kids. The lodge was big enough that no one felt cramped and the property is remote so you are not worried about being too loud. We had no issues with WiFi access. Hosts were very responsive to all our questions.

Stunning cabin/setting

We held our daughter’s wedding at this beautiful cabin! The front porch provided a stunning setting with an amazing view for ceremony, and the large dining area/living room provided a charming space for our dinner reception. We had approximately 70 guests, and it was slightly crowded, but because of the weather we were unable to use the uncovered deck area which would have allowed us to spread out more. Parking was a bit of a challenge, and we decided to shuttle most people due to the limited parking space and steep drive. Our family was able to enjoy the pool, hot tub, fireplaces, and more the entire weekend allowing us to have a wonderful time together and make so many memories. Ann and Bobby were very responsive and accommodating! They were quick to answer all of my questions and provided anything we could have needed in the house!

Amazing house

The house was even better than the pictures, which were amazing. We celebrated parents/grandparents 70th birthdays with 8 grandchildren under 10 and 8 adults. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly ask for, the bedrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, the indoor pool was amazing and all the games in the basement were fun for the kids and adults, and the owners were attentive and wonderful to work with. No complaints whatsoever and we will absolutely recommend to friends and keep in mind for future stays.

Amazing Hocking Hills Lodge

Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. When it rained, we all moved to the outdoor wood burning fireplace on the massive covered deck. All in, Laikyns was first rate. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for a Relaxing Weekend with Family!

A beautiful property with amazing views! The amenities were very nice, as were the furnishings. Everything was very clean and it was close to the hiking trails. Our family, including adult children and grandchildren gathered to celebrate our 45th anniversary and decade birthdays, and we made some great memories! Our internet service was patchy. We found that those with AT&T and T-Mobile got better reception than those with Verizon. In all, it was a wonderful gathering time!

WOW!

The check in process was very easy and the lodge was huge which was great for all of the folks that we had with us. We had a mix of children and the door lock to the pool was great because of that. There are tons of porches so lots of space for folks to spread out and have breathtaking morning coffee. The location was nice and we loved that there was so much to do for all of the different age groups. We loved that there was no cell phone service and the fact that the WIFI was spotty didn't bother us either. It afforded our family some great bonding times.

Family vacation

Annual family vacation. We choose Laikyns Lodge because we love the Hocking Hills area, the indoor pool, the hot tub and the variety and number of bedrooms. We had a small problem and the host responded right away. This lodge had EVERYTHING you need, from towels in bathrooms and pool towels, to every appliance imaginable in the kitchen (including air fryer). Only kitchen tool we could not find was a can opener (electric or manual). It probably was there somewhere but we managed. LOL. Would definitely stay again

Spectacular Lodge

Just as pictured, the lodge is a beacon of beauty on top of a hill, rising up from the wooded curves of Hocking Hills. The 15 of us gathered for 5 days to celebrate. This is a space of celebration. Ann, the host, was incredibly responsive. She put up anChristmas tree especially for us, despite it being before Thanksgiving. My wife sadly is dying from cancer and we chose to have both family holidays together in her honor. The lodge: its pool , game room, family table, kitchen counter, all enabled our emotional expressions from joy to tears and hugs and adult sharing while kids slept upstairs or played downstairs. We loved this place! We would return. The tweens loved discovering in the woods, finding a great play space at a creek bend, as much as hiking the Old Man’s Cave. The house, large as it is, warmed quickly through heat or fireplace. This is a magical place!

Amazing

Our family stayed for three nights and we were thrilled with this property. Large kitchen that was stocked with more than most rentals provide. We never once said, I wish they had this... Beds were comfortable. Gaming room was a hit with all ages. The pool was so much fun. Warm pool house, heated pool that makes you want to play longer in it. And the hot tub was a nice warm up after playing in the pool. The internet was spotty when we were all on our devices. We had to put devices down a bit which for what we were there to do, relax, wasn't a bad thing. Overall it's a wonderful property, property manager Ann was so responsive to any questions, and we will most certainly stay again.

Beautiful place, but.....

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful part of the Hocking Hills. Home was gorgeous. Bit there were/are some things to be aware of. 1. There is zero internet. Yes they'll give you wifi access, but it won't work and you'll be driving to Logan to use wifi. 2. You can not make or receive calls. Same as the wifi, you'll be headed to Logan to make calls. 3. The grill is a joke. We had to go buy our own. Not cool given what we paid. 4. We had 18 or so people at this location. Normally places that hold 18 have 2 or 3 refrigerators because clearly isnt enough. This place has one....so we had groceries brought in daily. 5. Kitchen, like the rest of the house, is beautiful but the utensils are really cheap and not really functional, especially when feeding large groups. We bought our own. 6. There is terribly limited parking. Its bad. And given the terrain you cant park on the grass. That wasn't expected given what we paid. 7. The grounds are beautiful. But the septic smell was.....hard to ignore. Made it a little hard to enjoy the evenings by the beautiful outdoor fireplace. 8. Check in was overly complicated. We didnt have the digital key at 330pm that afternoon. I messaged the owner for it had a member of my team message the owner, too. Not cool since we had 18 people waiting to arrive. We should have clear communication on that. I'm not trying to only dunk on this place. Its gorgeous. But for what we paid, we shouldn't have encountered the issues above.
