"Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was excellent. the front desk staff were super accommodating and always seemed to be working, no matter the hours. The rooms are spacious and super clean. We rented a car and there was underground parking. We love walking and could easily walk to the old town ( about 20 minutes) and eat and shop. However, there was also an amazing bakery about one block ( around the corner)from our hotel where we picked up breakfast and sandwiches for the day....

"The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."

Even though the building is very old, since it’s located in the center of “Old Town Chania”, inside you’d swear you’re in a newly built luxury hotel. Very centrally located for walking everywhere!"

"The hotel is very clean, the area is nice, you have a bus station to Chania 3 mins away from the hotel. Did not try the nearby restaurants but you have a couple of options from what I’ve seen. The only complaint would be that you need mobile data since the Wi-Fi is very slow, but mobile data has good speed so I didn’t mind."

"We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable room and common areas, very clean and well looked after, pool a bit cold (end of May). Breakfast and dinner tasty however food could’ve been warmer. Just a short drive from a beautiful Falassarna beach. Nice and quiet, private and not crowded as only 15 rooms at this property. Situated in the heart of a small village, surrounded by taverns but not much to do in the area itself. Good if you have a transport to explore...

"We had a wonderful week at Elizabeth Suites, Epas is a welcoming and helpful host who can never do enough to make sure your stay is a good one. The suite was spotlessly clean, the pool warm and plenty big enough to cool off in. The suites are located within easy walk of the beach, bus stops in the main town Chania and several local and big chain supermarkets. All in all the perfect place to enjoy local beaches and restaurants or choose to go into the lovely town. Just a perfect week in Crete! "

"Excellent time staying at these apartments! A quiet, lovely beach is right outside the property which was perfect for us. The gardens and the property as a whole is very well kept. Konstantinos was great, answered all our questions and the check-in/check-out was very easy. WiFi was a bit patchy sometimes, but no issues after restarting the router. "We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch.
