"Great location near the main plaza. Like most of the old cities in Italy, you’ll struggle getting any luggage to the room, as the apartment is a .8 mile walk to the nearest public parking garage. "Let’s start with the good: lots of communication and the lady was very kind and helpful. Beautiful views and peaceful. It was nice to look out and see green EVERYWHERE!! The perfect place to relax. "This place is just a haven, in the apartment you will find everything you need. I want to mention espresso how clean is everything, even the swimming pool. It is a perfect place to relax and to travel in Tuscany, I do recommend this place to everyone. You will stay in the heart of nature and relax in peace, with bottle of italian wine and italian food. All staff is very friendly and helpful. I hope to be back there next summer "

"Overall it was a good experience and my family was happy. Noise during night from people walking in the street was annoying. There was an issue in the flow of water in the bathroom but since I was staying for 3 nights only, I did not report it. "

"We had a bit of an issue getting into the property. Locals helped with calling the owner. Not sure what we would have done otherwise! Stairs to our shower area and balcony were not for anyone physically challenged. Very clean, comfortable mattress, darling small town, and lovely breakfast provided."

"The reception was extremely helpful with all our queries even before we got to the property and really helped make sure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment came with amazing views and the basic necessities. The pool was a very nice size and kept clean for us to enjoy. We also booked a horse riding lesson which was with a great instructor and I’d highly recommend a ride if you have the time. Thanks for the hospitality! "

"We had a 4 night’s stay here and used it as our base for tours around Toscany. It is located in a quiet area outside Siena. The apartment was nice and clean. We used the kitchen for minor cooking and that worked well. There is a supermarket close by and small restaurants in the town. The AC was working great. "Difficult to find, as only the name of the adjacent hotel, San Ruffino Resort, appears on the sign at the shared driveway. Room decor is in serious need of an upgrade (weird 70’s vibe and a lot of dangling wires) and the kitchenette and bathroom are rudimentary. Landscaping is dreary. Breakfast was basic and seemed like most items came from a supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff and the San Ruffino rResort pool (which Il Poggia guests can use) was pleasant, as were the grounds of the Resort."

"We loved our stay. The property is gorgeous, tucked away in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The view in the morning with the sun coming up was incredibly picturesque. Worth noting that the property is located in the hills and out of the way of any amenities but it does have a Conad (supermarket) about 25-30 mins away. Place is clean and well organised, plenty of towels etc."
