Problem with payment. I thought I was paid in full. They said it was just a down payment on the rooms. Under new management. Never happened with original owner.

Suggested improvement
Lovely home situated on a hill overlooking the Beagle Channel. Host and hostess very pleasant. Our host entertained all the guests with some wonderful tango music on his accordion piano on the evening of our arrival. bedrooms and bathrooms adequate and clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing with bread for toast provided, plus some croissants. Some fruit would have been a very nice added extra. However, perhaps it is difficult to get fresh fruit there.

The perfect place to stay
Beautiful and clean residence. Very helpful and informative owners who are very knowledgeable about the area. The owner helped us book the penguin tour last minute which ended up being the highlight of our trip. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. Would recommend this place to absolutely anybody!

Uphill and comfortable
Tango is run by a friendly couple as a B&B in their home. It is comfortable and certainly gave everything that was advertised. Being at the end of the line Ushuaia is not a cheap city, but within that Tango was perfectly reasonable. It is away from the tourist zone which stretches along the port area, and the streets are very steep, so expect a 15-20 minute walk downhill to the restaurants. That means a good walk back or if you have to move luggage, but for that short a distance taxis are not expensive. The neighborhood seemed fine; I walked uphill and then through much of the city with no problems at all.

Great place to stay!
I found the hotel owners particularly friendly and helpful. They even provided amazing entertainment one evening. The room was simple but clean and I thought the location provided good access to down town; a 10 minute walk, although up hill, which I did not mind.

Host Raul
Friendly, informative and very welcoming host who treated us just as his own family. Raul, the host, is a semi retired musician /composer who treated his guests, us included, one night to a private "tango show" in his home. He played the accordian and accompanied his songs with stories of the history of the tango. It was very well done and fascinating to hear. We celebrated the end of the "show" with a toast of champagne and then sat as a group and talked to get to know each other. It was a very cosy and lovely evening.

Following our dream to Antartica.
We stayed there twice before our trip to Antarctica and after we came back from our great trip The front room we had is small but good for sleeping,it has no desk to sit and work on. It is a fifteen minute walk down wards but a climb to go up,or you can take a taxi back. The final evening staying there was a highlight with a great performance of Raul playing his accordion and explaining the history of the Tango.

Clean and basic B&B
B&B is situated uphill around 6-7streets away from the main street. Maybe a 20min walk. Caution for those who have difficulty with stairs - but then Ushuaia is hilly all over anyway. Simple breakfast of medialunas and bread, with coffee/tea, juice and milk. Would be nice to have some fruit. Surroundings are more suburbs, quiet but still safe. The couple running it are friendly and will give you advice on some local attractions.

Not what we were promised.
We booked a private room with bath at this B&b but the bathroom was in the hallway. My husband needs to get up frequently in the night, so It was not convenient. Twin beds narrow, you can fall off if turning the wrong way. Waste basket was in clothes closet ( which had holes in the wall) and I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower, grungy! We booked for two nights but asked for refund for second night, but owner refused. We checked into a hotel for second night and lost &120., which I think was pretty steep for that b&b offerings and location. I give it 2 stars

Awesome room, service!
The hotel was far from the city center and given the fact the whole city is situated on a mountain slope, it was extremely difficult to just go out and walk to a restaurant or place of interest. Other than that, everything was awesome! Also the price was higher than I would have normally expected for this kind of a property.

Poor value but Ushuaia is absurdly overvalued
The hotel (actually a house) is small (which is OK) and way up the hill yet costs the same as more convenient locations in the town. February is in the peak tourist season for Ushuaia when prices are absurd, big-city prices. I could have done better if I had booked earlier, but I have no real complaints.

Great for the price and location
We stayed a total of four nights at the Tango on the way to and from Antarctica. The service was great and the rooms were comfy. It's off the Main Street so the cost is good. Raul was a great help with any questions we had and spoke great english. If we were to return I would stay again!

Nice for the most parts!
The room condition and amenities were pretty good. However the property is more than 10 blocks from the town center and the neighborhood could be a bit better. The tango show promised with a 3 night stay was not held as the host had a bad back.

Raul, the owner, put on an interesting tango show, played the accordion quite well, and told the history of the tango. The B&B is located several blocks from the main shopping street, high on the hillside, but is in a safe areas. If you want to get away from the tourists sites and get a feel for the locals, this is a good place. Clean, modest and comfortable.

Perfect place in Ushuaia
Very convenient location right in the middle of all Ushuaia attractions - old town, Martial glacier, national park, etc. safe neighborhood, easy to walk anywhere. Top top things off the hosts are both very gracious and Raúl is an incredibly talented musician. We feel very lucky we found Tabgo B&B for our stay.

Tango is exceptional b&b
Owner, talented accordionist, invited all guests to tango show where he performed few famous tangos and welcomed us with cava in great romantic atmosphere. We're nice stay.

Great Homey Stay in Ushuaia
We enjoyed our stay at Tango B&B. Our room was much larger and more comfortable than we'd expected, and it had a beautiful view of the city and the harbor. Our hosts were very accommodating from the moment we got there and gave us lots of information about where to eat and what to do. They were able to make some reservations for us and helped us figure out how to make the most of our time in Ushuaia. The B&B is a little farther from downtown than I thought (15 minute walk - mostly uphill coming back from downtown) but we didn't find this to be a huge deal. We were lucky enough to hear the Tango concert while we were there, which was definitely a highlight of our trip. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay away from the touristy downtown and with knowledgeable hosts who will tell you where to go and what to do, this is a great place to stay!

worst experience at the end of the world
it was one of the rare night we have spent at any hotel.we were given room which was not having attached bathroom.we were seating in booking area which was also breakfast area & one another customer came then we were asked to vacant the place & forced to go to room.also we had come from antartica cruise we were so tired and wanted to sleep early but it was so noisey and room door was also not good so till 11pm we could go to sleep when every body else has gone to sleep.

Pleasant stay in Ushuaia
Raul was an informative and accomodating host. Tango B&B is in a nice location overlooking town and the harbor. The room was comfortable and an excellent value. I would stay there again on my next visit to Ushuaia.

Friendly owner, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood. I was only in town overnight and this got the job done. The room was small - not much bigger than the bed - and the bathroom was private, but across the hall, which I didn't expect. Breakfast the next day was just tea/coffee, juice and some toast. The place has nice views over the city and harbor, but is up the steep hill and somewhat removed from the rest of the city (it's a small city, so nowhere is too far). Strong wifi connection - owner spoke good English and entertained guests with good stories.

The hotel is clean, safe and in a good location. The couple that owns the home is very nice and were very helpful giving us tips on where to eat. They also invited us for a welcome tango show, complete with a welcome drink. The view from the B&B is great and the room was clean, though consists of just a bed basically. Overall, I am satisfied given the other choices. Breakfast though, was horrible. It is coffee / tea, some kind of "juice" (I think something made from power) and bread, bread, bread. Some fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese or even ham would have been a very welcome addition.

Really enjoyed our stay with this friendly couple who were helpful and full of suggestions that matched our interests in dining and hiking in the local park. Raoul's tango music was wonderful, the location is easy walking to all of Ushuaia. Strongly recommended for good value and friendliness.

El check in correcto, el desayuno aunque repetitivo está correcto, Vanessa muy amable. El cuarto no tiene ropero, apena dos sistemas de perchas, queda a 5 cuadras de av san martin. Mucho repecho para ir. La cama no es muy confortable, puede mejorar.

Man wird freundlich aufgenommen im Wohnhaus der Familie. Daraus ergeben sich leider auch die Nachteile. es gibt kein Gemeinschaftsraum, wenn man nicht im Wohnzimmer mit den Besitzern sitzen möchte.
