Our stay at Hotel Sardonyx was perfect for our intro to Tokyo. Our flight got in late so we arrived after midnight. I had contacted them ahead of time so I knew they had a 24 hour desk, which saved a lot of stress. The location was not in the heart of things but we had a beautiful view of the river and if we craned our neck to the left we could see the sky tree. There’s a metro station just across the street, so getting to other places in Tokyo was easy. We had a lovely day walking along the river up to Ueno Park to see the cherry blossoms and the next day we were able to walk to Tokyo station. We were able to send most of our things straight to Hiroshima so we didn’t have a lot to carry. The front desk was super helpful with everything. Our room had three large twins that were perfect for the three of us, and while the mattress was hard it was still comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to people.

Staff are very friendly and helpful (English is okay). Veyr close to train station. Breakfast is average but they do have baby chairs which was convenient for us. For what we paid, very happy and satisfied.

Room is spacious for 2pax. Staff are attentive and helpful. Love the location as it was a few mins walk to 2 train station. Close to Tokyo station. 711, Family Mart and Lawson are next and across the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

Convenient location with close subway lines few minutes walk away and the main tokyo station is around 20+ min walk away (or 3 stops by bus). The hotel is a little dated, and the lifts and corridors on some levels sometimes smells of cigarettes. Room was spacious enough, comfy for a couple stay.

Hotel is close to metro and Tokyo Station and is in an area that is reasonably quiet with 3 different convenience stores around the corners. Staff were helpful and polite. Room was clean.

We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and liked it just as much this time round. It is very comfortable and in a convenient location for exploring Tokyo, being very close to the metro and a 15 minute walk from Tokyo Station.

We have stayed at this property several times over 40 years (it was once a Holiday Inn!) and although the present renovation is sparkling and nice, the neighborhood is still its best feature although it too has changed dramatically over 40 years. Service and price are still outstanding,

The beds were comfortable and very quiet. The pajamas they provided were nice and soft. Loved it. Across the street from a Hatchobori subway station. 15 min walk to Tokyo Station.

Love our stay at this hotel. Big room, friendly staff and great location. PJs provided too! Overall excellent service. Close to Tokyo station and nearest subway from hotel is about 2mins walk. There were 3 convenient stores around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is great. There are three convenient stores on each corners of the hotel. It’s also right next to the subway entrance. However the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel caters more to westerners and it doesn’t provide the authentic Tokyo experience.

This hotel is close to both Tokyo Station and Tokyo city air terminal. Breakfast was wonderful. We stayed in a triple bedroom for a night. Very quiet, comfortable bed, small room but enough space. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. They brought three umbrellas when we were about to go outside in the rain. We’ll definitely come back here next time. We love everything this hotel offers.

The hotel is within 1-2 mins from Exit A4 of the Hatchoburi station. This stn is one stn away from Tokyo stn and to many other stns. But surrounding not much dining options. No shopping available except a Lawson opp the hotel. Room is spacious including two big beds and a long table. Great for makeup. V clean

An older hotel that's a bit of a walk from Tokyo Station. Rooms are quite large foir Tokyo. A good hotel to stay at before catching a flight back

Hotel in a central location, breakfasts in the hotel restaurant. It is also possible to eat lunch and dinner. A good place to stay for tourists who are outside the hotel most of the day.

The location is quite good. You have 2 convenience stores nearby such as Lawson and 7-eleven, very convenient for us since we have kids who are constantly asking for snacks. Close to subway/train station around 5 mins walk. The room size is big, fits a family of four plus luggages. It has a couch/seating area where kids can do their activities or a work area for mom/dad. I love that they provide slippers for kids as well. They also provide pyjama set for us parents. Overall their service is excellent. We requested a couple of items like iron and they’re very quick to deliver it to our room. A major plus is that their front desk staffs speak and understand English.

Found this gem for our recent trip to Tokyo. The rooms are spacious unlike a lot of other hotels in Japan. Train stations are conveniently located, which makes it much easier to explore Tokyo and it’s surroundings. The staff are able to converse in English, which is another huge plus. The prices are affordable too, considering that we stayed during the Sakura peak season. Will definitely come back again if ever I’m in Tokyo. Thank you for the hospitality, Hotel Sardonyx
