“Our best holiday in Costa Adeje”

Having been to Costa Adeje previously and stayed in other 5 star hotels, this was the best yet. A beautiful hotel in lovely gardens, with wonderful swimming pools good food and great service- what more do you need for a relaxing holiday.

“Would recommend to anyone!”

We booked this hotel with no knowledge of the location and found it to be absolutely perfect. The hotel is in cost Adeje which is on the southern coast of Tenerife. If you're looking for it on a map, find Los Christianos, go west to Playa De Las Americas and keep going west for a few miles and you'll find it. The good news was that it was far enough away from the more tourist-packed areas yet close enough to benefit from all the amenities. The hotel is an oasis of calm right at the end of the developed beachfront. The hotel is lavish but restrained and benefits from a lack of pretense that some hotels of this calibre have. The staff are beyond friendly, the pool attractive, the rooms comfy and well-maintained and I would recommend it to anyone who asks! There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance but I'd try the ones to the West as the views at sunset are spectacular.

“A special little oasis”

We went to Tenerife as a very last minute break and were a little aprehensive having never been there before. However on arrival at the hotel Jardines de Nivaria all our fears were alaid. We had read reports about the hotel but feared they were perhaps a little overated. Not so this is truly a very special hotel and there is really no need to leave it all week. However if you do go out the front of the hotel turn left and if you go out the back turn right. There are some good places to eat in this area overlooking the sea. As most visitors will know the beaches are not what we are used to in england but the hotel facilities are such that there is no real need to visit. Get outside on the terrace for that wonderful breakfast and the really posh restaurant in the hotel serves really good food with a few little extras. Never tried the buffet evening meal so unable to comment.

“Wonderful stay at the Nivaria”

Just got back from a fantastic stay at the Jardines de Nivaria. We booked a garden view room which was very clean and a good size. Nice touches like chocolates on your pillow and complimentary bowl of fruit and small bottle of red wine. Bed was comfortable and our room had a choice of firm or soft pillows. Bathroom a good size and kept very clean. On our visit it was my wife's birthday, and without prompting (they must have checked passport date of birth) left a bottle of chilled Cava and flowers in the room! Very impressed. Gardens and pool area are beautiful. The heated pool is great, and the cool water pool is nice for a refreshing swim. Water kept remarkably clean for an outdoor holiday pool. We had no problems getting loungers at any time of the day, but I don't know what it's like in peak season. Hotel and grounds are very secure with card entry. Breakfast buffet is excellent and varied. Includes cold meats, cheeses, pastries, freshly squeezed juices, cooked to order bacon and eggs, hot buffet, and best of all - delicious made to order omelettes. The bar offers outside entertainment and lovely cocktails. The acts were varied and good quality, especially the Chinese acrobats (table spinning was unbelievable!) and the Polynesian act was good fun.

“Excellent comfort, service and value.”

This hotel has very high standards. The quality of the rooms and all aspects of hotel service is superb. Great pools (one heated and one not), easy access to the beach, a better buffet breakfast (on the terrace) than you can get anywhere else, mini-bar and security safe in room - this place has it all for a very reasonable price. On my checkout day, the receptionist let me keep the room till 4pm because the hotel was not busy, and I had lunch at the poolside restaurant, and a quick dip before ordering my taxi to the airport. All in all, a very nice hotel - I even had a breakfast chat with Rod Stewart who was staying there with his family!

“Best Hotel in Tenerife”

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Jardines de Nivaria. The hotel is first class and we would not stay anywhere else now when returning to Tenerife. The location couldn't be better and it was lovely to find sunbeds available at the pool at 11am!! The buffet breakfast as to be seen to be believed, amazing! The staff are wonderful, nothing was too much triyvke, Without exception everyone was extremely polite, friendly and courteous. The rooms are all extremely comfortable, we were fortunate enough to have a wonderful pool view. Only one cause for concern. The Beauty Salon wasn't as clean as I would have liked, ie alot of hair around the waxing pots!!!, not very hygenic. However, we would definitely return to this wonderful hotel.

“Better than ever”

This was our second visit to the hotel after a few years. It was a favourite on our first visit and did not disappoint. The hotel has a great vibe to it, having been moulded around the site and provided with great landscaping. The staff were extremely friendly and went the extra mile to make our life easier and provide that extra special service on a number of occasions. The buffet breakfast gave a wide range of food that was continuously kept topped up and the evening entertainment had up to three different artistes each evening which were of a high standard. The biggest improvement since we were there previously has been the development around the hotel which provides a great opportunity for a stroll and a choice of restaurants, the best of which are a pleasant ten minute stroll along the seafront in nearby Bahia el Duque. La Nonna was our personal favourite. The trip also takes you past a couple of good shopping centres for a retail therapy break.

“Great Holiday in Tenerife”

This hotel was excellent and all you may expect from a 5 star rating. The staff were really friendly and helpful with a sense of humour. Restaurant service was top notch. Availability of sun beds and books and towels was first rate and easy. I would go again tomorrow.

“Beautiful Hotel”

Last visited Tenerife 20 years ago and we were very tentative about staying in the South as it always appeared a wee bit tacky. However, Adeje is a different kettle of fish and this hotel is very nice indeed. Wanted a relaxing break and they definitely delivered. The gardens and pool are great and the service is good without making a song and dance about it. Original allocated room was not acceptable but once we complained we were moved immediately - no fuss.
