“Would do again”
It was convenient, comfortable and clean. I was right next to Old Town, to great shopping and to very easy to use public transportation. Since I like to walk and sometimes got lost, it was easy to orient myself since it is one the tallest buildings. Another plus was getting there; many of the other hotels I had consider had only foot accessible roads making dragging luggage a pain. Great for families and single travelers.

It was my second time in Tallinn and I stayed at a different hotel on my first time, regrettably. I will definately stay again in this hotel when I come to Estonia.
“No Suprises Here!”
Situated in the-heart-of- downtown, stone's throw away from old town and very near port. Sokos Hotel Viru is a business-class hotel with all the efficiences and services expected. The hotel is part of a complex which consists of resturants, bars and a even a shopping mall. The bus station sits underneath the complex and Bus Route 2 (which actually has a stop outside the complex) will get you to the airport. Rooms I would consider basic but very clean and never a problem with noise. Rates, in my opinion, very competitive. If touring the city, it is one of the taller buildings in Tallinn and makes for a nice landmark when navigating around. The views from the top floors of the hotel are grand indeed. If looking to "play-it-safe" during next trip to Tallinn, this is definately the place you want to be.
“Very good hotel”
A very good hotel. A very good combination of price and quality. Best location. It is adjustent to the main attractions like old city.
“Great location”
You can't beat the Viru hotel for location - directly across the street from Tallinn's old town and the Estonia opera house. It is also connected to the Viru Keskus shopping mall, which includes cafes, stores, and the largest book store in the city.
