“Great hotel... some rooms are noisy!”

In some respects, the Domina is perfect for me, a beautiful (inside) hotel with a great location and very helpful staff. What I liked: great staff, location (close to Old Town without the noise), nice rooms. The WiFi worked well and the free breakfast was excellent. Problems: I wasn't able to check in a little early, but no big deal. The noise in my first room was terrible (it was above the main corridor). I had to switch rooms after one night. The second room was perfectly quiet even though it faced the main street. The hotel was a good value, the price was mid-range for Tallinn. I didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, but the food looked pretty good and reasonably priced. The other down side is that there's basic nothing in the immediate area, but it's no big deal. I would definitely go back again, but I would avoid the bank of rooms above the main corridor at all costs.

“Ideally located”

A clean and comfortable new hotel in a renovated factory located 300 metres from the old town. Very reasonable price in comparison t most of northern Europe. Would suit business or leisure traveller.

“highly recommended”

The hotel is a short walk to the Old City of Tallinn. The staff was extremely helpful- making phone calls for us and printing out vouchers, helping us plan etc. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay there.

“Tallinn Steal”

This modern hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance of both the ferry harbor and Tallinn's Old Town. A taxi ride from/to the airport takes about 15 minutes. The hotel (lobby, halls and rooms) is very clean. Elevators are modern and efficient. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant is very good and plentiful for all morning tastes. Hotel staff are friendly and eager to help. Their command of English is very good. The rooms are appointed with modern furniture. The beds are comfortable with firm mattresses in the Western European way. We spent a couple of nights there during the "white night" season and appreciated the heavy curtains in front of the windows, which blocked the outside light quite well. Our short list of gripes includes somewhat inadequate air conditioning during 80 degree weather (although the windows can be opened) and a rather small TV unit (probably 13").

“Great stay. Perfect place for being near but not in the middle of Old Town!”

We had a wonderful time here. It was a great hotel, clean, nice, well taken care of. Perfect place if you want to be near Old Town but not right in the middle of it all and till in very easy walking distance! Highly recommend!

“Great location”

This hotel is right outside the old city - at the base of Toompea. Great location for a little less than right inside the walls. However a couple of issues - the showers in the bath cause water to go everywhere in the bathroom and i mean everywhere. Not an issue if you are taking a shower in the a.m. and leaving the room for the day. And, the room got really uncomforably hot at night. As far as I could tell, you can't regulate the temp in the room. The breakfast was nice with hot and cold options.

“"Good experience - staff could be more helpful"”

We had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was all that we needed - a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay in a decent location. If you are looking for a hotel with excellent customer service, this isn't it - it was mediocre. Once probed the staff would start to help you, but it felt like they were doing you a favour by providing standard services.

“Good hotel at a convenient location”

The Domina Inn Ilmarine hotel is conveniently located at a 5-minute walking distance from Old Town and the harbor. Parking was a bit of an issue and our room was probably a smoking room even though we had requested a non-smoking room at the time of booking. Breakfast was great and service was good. The hotel is new and very clean.
