“I love this hotel!!”

I chose this hotel mainly because of its location.. it is near the largest night market in taipei (Shihlin Night market). I didn't expect it to be a lavish hotel but I was more than impress with the service provided. I booked the Luxury suite, emailed the hotel that we need airport pickup and immediately got a response. When our plane arrived, the chauffeur was already waiting outside for us in no less than a Mercedes Benz at that! More interesting was how friendly the staff were. They do speak English although not as fluent but we get by. They were polite and helpful. The suite was definitely worth the money spent. A queen size bed, with an extremely large bathroom.. I could run in it!. I could not stress enough how great the staff were. Breakfast also good! they offer both chinese and american dishes. All in all, this is a perfect hotel for those who are on a budget but also enjoy a little bit of luxury without having to spend a fortune. :D

“Great Hotel! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Taipei.”

This hotel is right next to one of the best night markets in Taipei and a subway line. The rooms are huge with king beds and jetted tubs. Breakfast could use some improvement - but does not detract from the great experience we had at this hotel. For the price - this hotel is awesome.

“Lovely hotel, value for money”

The hotel staff were very helpful and efficient. They could speak English, so no problems with communication, booking trips or taxis. The hotel itself was of medium size, clean, with plenty to choose from at breakfast. Our room was spacious and clean. The location was fantastic - close to MRT station and the most famous night market and also many different shops around.

I stayed 2 nights in the Beauty hotel after my conference in Hsinchu. I enjoyed very much to be close to the night market and subway and bus stations. Staff was very proffessional and always doing their best to help you and assist you in your stay in Taiwan. It was really a wonderful experience. Very nice and kind people.

“Great hotel for great price”

The room was very clean and well kept. Very satisfied. I'll stay there again next time I visit Taipei. It was great that the night market was so close and they had free bike rentals. The city is fairly small, so it was easy to get around once you were familiar with the area.

“Lovely hotel - good location”

The hotel was a good value and a nice surprise; it appears to be a new building. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a claw foot bathtub and separate shower. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, they also spoke English. Great location - walking distance to the Shilin night market and metro station. The only thing wich could be improved is the buffet breakfast. There was a wide variety of food, but the western dishes offered all fell short - rose flavored pancakes, underdone french toast and poor coffee from a nescafe machine. (Just a few steps from the hotel is a great coffee shop - Coffee Seed - unfortunately it only opens at 10am)

I stayed there for 3 nights. The bathroom was incredible and the room was comfy enough for leisure and business purpose with a reasonable price.

“A 5-Star hotel at a rate you can afford”

Star Beauty Resort in Taipei is centrally located and only 10 minutes walk to Jiantan MRT Station. The Shihlin Night Market is also nearby (5 minutes walk). We were very impressed with the hotel staff as they were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the reception desk all speak English and have good knowledge of places of attraction. The hotel room was clean and spacious. However, eventhough 'no smoking' signs are visible on every floor, each room is provided with an ashtray. On our arrival we were given a room which had a strong cigarette smell. After we lodged our complain, another room was allocated to us without any hassle. The hotel served excellent breakfast and it's something we looked forwad to every morning. We will stay at Star Beauty Hotel again without any hesitation.

“IMPRESSED”

I would recommend Star Beauty Hotel. We paid extra to have a luxury room and it was worth the extra. The luxury room is a decent size room and all have spa baths. I did see the standard rooms although small still had everything you would need. The staff at the hotel are all really helpful,friendly and willing to help.Breakfast was ok everything you would want,although was not very hot.The hotel is about a 5min walk from the MRT which is really easy to use to get around. I would suggest buying a swipe card which saves 20 percent on fares and is easy to use. The hotel is also near the night markets. Around the hotel is a few different eateries all of which we tried and enjoyed. If travelling with the Aussie dollar it is a good idea to get some Taiwan dollars b4 you get there as the hotel does not change Aust dollars,alot of banks dont change either the Bank of Taiwan will change which is close to the hotel. Taipei is a clean city.
