Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our penthouse apartment, photos look amazing but in reality not so much Bathroom door would not even close,no fly screens on windows at all,very dated hardware throughout, main ensuite fan would not turn off, main bathroom did not even have an exhaust fan,gym was tiny and outdated and not even set out correctly for use at all. For the amount of money we paid we were very disappointed to say the least.

Was absolutely amazing kids really liked it although we only got one night and spent most the day at the hospital for daughter surgery was a nice place kids loved the tennis before we left

This property is well maintained for its age. Close to the beach and major shops, staff were friendly and very helpful. Accomodation was at a great price too! Definitely be going back!

Great view from the balcony if you have a D or E apartment and apartment is nice and clean but overall may need a refurb as the pool liner is coming apart and there is no ventilation in the bathroom and some paint/tidy up bits to be done but a lovely stay close to the surf club and beach across the road! :-)

The building is close to the Beach and Kawana Surf Club that’s it. You have to drive everywhere. The building is very run down our apartment wasn’t very clean neither. There were screws sticking out of the dining room chairs which ruined my slacks which were new. My 5 year old granddaughter got a big scratch down her leg as well. Sorry but won’t be staying there again. I booked it for a wedding which was cancelled because of Covid and the money was no refundable. Disappointing

Beverley your review is unreasonable and a real disappointment to the team who work hard and happily to ensure our guests are comfortable during their stay. You were a one night stay at our resort and we provided you a complimentary early check in. We believe your apartment was beautifully serviced for your arrival the day prior and great care had been taken to ensure it was clean. ( We even do a pre-arrival check) On departure you mentioned to us that there was a screw on a chair that effected your clothing, and we went straight up and were able to fix the screw. Thanks for letting us know but was it really worth the public review shame? We are sorry that the resort overall failed to meet your expectations, and thank you for the positive mention of the wonderful location to Beach, Surf Club and shops. Your claim of non refundable is completely untrue. ANY one who booked direct with us who has had their booking effected by COVID can substantiate that we offered FULL credit or REFUND with a $50.00 fee. It would just be good if you could think about what you write in these review platforms and remember there are hard working family businesses doing there best!

great spot and place
great spot opposite the beach.even though it was only for a night i would defiantly go back. the place is a older style, but that made the apartment huge, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Family getaway
The staff were perfect hosts. We had a horrible weather day, early check-in was offered willingly. Soooo much appreciated. The facilities were perfect for our family. Could not be happier.

Pretty good
A little run down in apartment. Broken tiles. Dirty shower. Would have been good if the gym opened earlier as we get up so early. Nice and close to shops m. The beach isn’t the safest for swimming. But good size apartment with lovely view. Great pool and spa. Lovely managers.

Great stay at convenient location
We had a great seven night stay here. Check in was fast and efficient. The owners were very helpful in explaining how things worked. We were given a three bedroom unit with two bedrooms locked off, which suited us fine. It meant we had a double car space which made parking the 4WD easy. The unit’s lounge room was a good size for the two of us and the kitchen was well equipped. The building is only a short walk to Kawana Waters surf club (not as good as the ones at Alex Beach or Mooloolaba), but still OK. It is also quite close to the Kawana Shopping Centre with it’s restaurants and cinema. The location is a lot quieter than Mooloolaba.

It was spacious and nice. There were some dirty utensils in the draw and we felt like we were missing some more practical kitchen items. The shower door was in need of a clean. But overall it was a great place to stay. Excellent location!

Highly recommend Beachside Resort
Highly recommend Beachside Resort. The room was spacious, clean and had lovely sea views with good amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool too. The Resort is close to Kawana Shopping World and to a beautiful beach and scenic walks. Julie (Manager) and her team were amazing. Julie was so helpful. My son had some health issues and we had to delay our flight home, Julie went above and beyond to help us during this difficult time. We really appreciate her excellent customer care and kindness. We will definitely return.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us Rebecca. We do ask that guests leave our apartments tidy and remove any rubbish. The rubbish access is just a short walk along from the apartments. It does assist our housekeepers and is the general rule for all self contained apartments who provide full kitchen and laundry facilities. We hope you will choose to holiday with us again.

Quick family get away... too short
Stayed in the Penthouse. Views were amazing. Room was extremely spacious. Very clean when we arrived. Complimentary coffee tea etc and shampoos etc. I know these are self contained apartments but I we only stayed two nights so I thought there might of been enough coffee sugar etc for 6 people as the apartment slept 6. Also some body wash and body moisturiser would of been nice in the bathrooms. Only small toiletries, 2 of each for 6 people. Reception were beautiful people and very friendly. We had late check in, the process was extremely easy. Would love to come back and stay in the penthouse again but next time a longer visit. Walk across the road to the beach and Surf Club for some great food. Loved the view from bed.
