“Away from the madding crowd”

This is the second time I am staying at Grand Dorsett. Was a very pleasant stay once again. Quiet and serene environment, near to Sunway but far from the madding crowd.

“Good Quality doesn't have to cost a fortune”

Great hotel, well priced and comfortable. The only let down was the fact that the pool area was under renovation, I guess you need to close things inorder to improve them. A good place to stay if you don't need to be in the centre of KL.

This a very user friendly hotel, with great staff and service

“Internet facilities”

Overall hotel is good but when you are doing your business travelling you might need to use internet or wifi. The charges here is very expensive (RM25.00 per hour). The hotel management should have the free wifi inside the room or lobby with the room number as a password. All hotels now providing this benefit which will encourage guest on business to stay. If I am on business journey I may not stay here anymore but if for leisure,I will be there.

“Dorsett stay”

The concierge at the hotel is very bad, and not at all cooperative, and very poor taxi service from the hotel.

“Cleaning room and good breakfast”

The room is clean, well managed, good staff and the breakfast is good.

“The not so grand Dorsett”

It was a relatively pleasant stay. I liked the newly renovated rooms and power controlled blinds in the toilet. On the down side of things... 1) Parking was limited. Had to park 10 minutes walk away. Very inconvenient. 2) Lobby could do with a little uplifting decor/ redesigning. 3) Wi fi should be provided free for all guests. We paid for the wi fi to be included but poor reception. 4) One disappointing thing ( at least for my kids ) --- no bath tub. 5) Needs to change the brand of toothpaste provided ( unpleasant taste and odour ) 6) A/C a little difficult to operate and the rooms were stifling hot when we got there. 7) breakfast was nice as they had variety. Pastries not fresh.
