“Nice hotel for families.”
Good for families. The bed It was very comfortable. It was great that the suite has two rooms connected, since we have two small children. The breakfast was great. Customer service was also good. We even had the front desk call us let us know they found my sons jacket. We lost it. I guess they just happened to notice we had small kids and thought it might be ours. Very nice people. There is a grocery store and a Walgreens right around the corner. Along, with fast food restaurants and gas stations near by. We will stay again.
“We'll stay here again!”
Recently renovated, so very clean and updated. Good location near airport, and a 15-minute drive to all downtown STL attractions. The signage isn't good for the hotel, and one must drive around it a bit to find the entrance. Rely on your GPS! The complimentary breakfast was excellent, as well as the Manager's Happy Hour, with Kiddie Cocktails for the kids. The pool is good, but not terribly big. No complaints about this Embassy Suites. My only negative comment would be that there aren't too many interesting restaurants near the hotel. Fast-food, an Applebee's and a Lonestar are your only choices. We'll stay here again, for sure!
“comfortable”
The hotel itself was very nice and very comfortable. The staff is very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The free full breakfast was awesome! The only drawback i had to this hotel was the location. Its hard to find and has only 1 entrance. If you miss the small roadside you have to doubleback quite a ways.
“Excellent”
This was an excellent hotel with an excellent room and facilities. It is very close to the airport for those in need of this. The only challenge was it was difficult from the south since it only had one access road off of a divided highway. Excellent stay for our family who spent two nights there in two rooms over Easter weekend.
“Excellent but charges for parking if flying out”
The staff was excellent minus the somewhat harried bartender during happy hour (but we didn't exactly blame her due to some of the very inebriated clientele.# Everyone was friendly and we ordered a chicken strawberry poppyseed salad and cookies #which weren't on the menu but the staff found them for us!# which the boys loved for dinner. Our king bed suite was very comfortable and our whole family had room to sleep in the bed - we have a 15 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. The space on one side of the bed #farthest from the bathroom# is very tight but that was actually to our advantage because we moved the bench from underneath the TV stand in the sitting room to that side of the bed and that created a barrier so that if any child rolled off he would simply roll onto the bench. For the other side of the bed we moved the chairs from the sitting room and put the backs of the chairs against the bed to create a bed rail. The bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was also excellent. The only complaint I have was that we wanted a hotel that had free parking and a shuttle to the airport. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport and free parking but the free parking is only for the night that you are actually staying in the hotel. For the other nights that your car is there you have to pay $4.50/day. That information wasn't known to us until we checked in. Nevertheless the hotel and amenities #happy hour and free breakfast) are well worth it.
“Great hotel to fit in the budget with gas prices”
Front Desk needs to be little more knowledgeable of paying methods (options)!!!
“Great staff”
Great staff - very helpful. Great location-easy shuttle to airport.
“Weekend Visit”
The staff went out of their way to assist us with making our stay comfortabel and enjoyable.
“Will be staying again”
Everyone that worked at the hotel was super friendly. My room was very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again as it was close to everything I was doing over the weekend and I had a very pleasant stay.
“Wonderful”
Great experience. Reasonably priced very close to airport. Will definately stay again when in stl
